Locals and visitors to the neighboring Graves 601 Hotel come to this posh spa for the royal treatment. Upon entering, guests see four styling stations among maroon walls and charcoal cork floors. The helpful staff then guides them to the four treatment rooms in the back for specialties such as the caviar facial; a 90-minute anti-aging treatment wherein caviar is used to tighten the face, hands, feet and neck.

I am writing in response to a friend that went there and came home and was outraged!!! She said the place was run down, cluttered, decor was shotty and broken, carpets in spa area dirty and stained, toilet wouldn't flush. She also commented on the attire of the ladies who worked there saying the technicians that worked there were dressed cute but that the lady at the front desk was dressed very unprofessional and flashy. She did not like her nail service. Thought it was done by someone straight out of school and had to pay $45 dollars for a manicure!!!!!! the nail girl said that the owners own a company that sells salon equipment but from what my friend saw it was tacky and old. She will not be going back and she has told several of her colleagues and friends not to either. That place needs to be cleaned up all together.

I have made Jewel spa one of my favorite places to escape to. They are very helpful with walk-in apt's, which helps a lot with my schedule. I first went there to get a style done for event that i had, Taylor was my stylist and she helped me through that chaotic time and made me beautiful, she was wonderful! After attending Jewel and seeing Taylor for my hair and nails, she referred me to Susan who is a massage therapist, oh my gosh...again wonderful! They really know how to take care of their clients! I even get to drink wine! This will also be the perfect place to hold my bachelorette party! Jewel spa is an elegant yet very cozy place to come. I just love it!
Pros: Multiple services to choose from
Cons: Parking can be hard, but there is a ramp below block E.
