Good Time. Drinks, drinks, drinks....if you're ok with waiting a bit for drinks you should have a good time here. Lot of young drunks here, but it's still a lot of fun.

Good drinks. Terrible. Broken glass in my foot---they don't clean the floors at the Lodge. I left the Lodge in an ambulance. The manager never took responsibility. Ignored my calls. Awful no good place.

Ruined our New Years. We had a huge group of friends in town for New Years. They really wanted to go downtown for the night. We decided to buy advance tickets for The Lodge.

When we got there they told us the bar was full. We repeatedly explained that we had already paid to get in, but they just told us that they had reached capacity and wouldn't be letting anyone else in. Only after half an hour of talking to the bouncer were we promised our money back.

However, when we called the next day, they said no refunds would be given. Not only did they ruin our New Years, but they also kept all of our money.

Clean, FUN, and great prices.. It may be that I'm used to CA drink costs, but the prices for drinks were phenomenal. I had so much fun with the easy-going, energetic live band that I'm recommending it to to many of my friends, and many people I know are spending birthday parties and welcome home celebrations there. The people are clean and friendly, I didn't get approached by any creeps!

Most fun I've had downtown in a while!. The Lodge Bar is so much fun! My girlfriends and I went out this Saturday night and ended up going to a few different bars before we made it to the Lodge Bar. I am very happy we decided to go there because from the moment we walked up to the door the staff was nice! The band rocked, and there were people dancing on stage! The place was packed and a lot of fun. I will be going back there for sure!

Dodge the Lodge!!. The Lodge is a sad excuse for a bar. No one I know likes that bar and I can see why. Drinks are watered down and the cover bands are awful. It gets way too crowded on the weekends and way too loud. The bartenders take forever and the girls who work there are slooty. The Lodge is just a magnet for slootys and dirty, college frat boys who pop their collar. I just don't understand why people would wait in line to get into this lousy bar. overall, I say dodge the lodge, it's not worth it.

Fun on the weekends. This place is a blast on the weekends! Every time I've visited the bands have been a lot of fun! It is always packed. I definitely recommend going a little early to avoid the cover and get a little better service at the bar before it gets too busy.

Modeled after a log cabin, this downtown Minneapolis refuge draws crowds with live music and good beer.. In Short
If it wasn't for the tiny wooden sign outside, patrons might miss the Lodge Bar. But inside, oak beams and A-frame facades help the massive chalet hold several bar stools, couches and a huge stage complete with a woodsy setting. Old snowshoes and hunting posters adorn the walls. Pure Minnesota ambience provides a perfect rustic backdrop for local and visiting bands. While the weeknight scene can be slow, the place is packed for weekend performances.

BORING BORING BORING. I am from NYC so I didn't know what to expect...it was a Wednesday night and they had a special 25 cent tap beer...I ordered a Grey Goose Vodka cranberry and it was 10 dollars. Now I know it is Grey Goose, but these are New York City prices, not what I would expect in MN. Anyways, the bar was boring, the guys were not good looking, the music was bad, and extremely slow serivice. The highlight of my night is when we left to go to a different bar.....Don't waste your time, especially if your not from Minneapolis

F-. This place is bad- correction- horrible. Cover to get in- I though it was a joke. The music was unoriginal and the decor was tacky. And the employees- I have never been treated so hideously ever! One of the bouncers was hitting on a drunk girl, not doing his job, and my friend accidentally went out the wrong door to have a smoke- he wasnt paying attention- so no stamp and he wouldnt let her back in- the club wanted her pay a double cover then! We were very upset and then he started to lie, claiming we (two 5 small girls in 3 heals) tried to assault him (a 6 large guy) - kicked the wall and the ropes (mind you in our 3 heals)!!! Neither of us were drinking that night so there was no overreacting- just reaction to the treatment. You work at the Lodge people- get off yourselves!!! Its a good place to see college dropouts who dont want to grow up yet.
