Best Mexican South of the River!. This is not fast food. Its good food fast! Authentic and tasty. I drive from Belle Plaine to eat here once a week. You won;t be disappointed.
Best Mexican Food Ever!. Taco Loco always makes for a great dining experience. Not only is the food excellent (their steak tacos are second to none), but it is reasonably priced and the staff is always friendly and personable. I would highly recommend it to anyone!
Shakopee's worst Mexican food!!!. Don't waste your time or money going to Taco Loco!!! When I first walked in I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and the prices seemed very reasonable, but I was extremely dissapointed with the quality of my food, and so was everyone else that was with me. First off our food took forever, which by no means could qualify as fast food!!! If I had that time to kill I would have gone across the street to El Toro where I have never been dissapointed. The prices seemed good but the chicken in my torta was obviously from a can, so you can imagine the quality of my food as a whole. They didn't even slather beans and guacamole on to mask the nasty dryness of the inferior quality of "meat" which would have at least made it edible. I couldn't even find the beans :( Why would anyone go here twice when there is such a great place across the street?!?!? El Toro's prices are comparable (you might pay like a buck more for certain items, but the increased quality and taste is worth well beyond $1 more) and they have awsome luch specials, and they even have huge maragrita lunch specials for under $3!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT TACO LOCO YOU WILL BE UNBELIEVABLY DISSAPOINTED!!! Under no circumstances would I ever bother giving them a 2nd chance.
DO NOT GO! DO NOT GO! STAY AWAY!. I will never eat at Taco Loco again. I went in a bit hesitant because there were no cars in the parking lot during lunch on a Saturday, but decided to give it a shot. The guy at the front was anything but polite. They give out complimentary chips and salsa as most Mexican restaurants do, but there is a catch. If you want refills it's another $2.50! Besides that, the bowl of chips was tiny and the salsa was in a small to go container. The tables were not even wiped down even though the place was empty and once we got our food it was inedible to say the least. I am not one to typically complain about a place, but this place really missed the mark.
Good Mexican Food for the $$. A little place with a Large menu selection & reasonable prices. Food was Very good ! Thanks for taking me Erin!
Classic Taco Stand. Taco Loco is worth the drive from Minneapolis - Housed in an old Dairy Queen, they have a comprehensive menu not only limited to standards. Also included are excellent tamales, chile rellenos and tortas. They also have a great vegetarian burrito. All made with the best handmade tortillas around.
