Worst Service Ever.
I totally agree with build it green's review and rating. I had a similar issue, and always got the run-around from customer service and escrow departments. I knew after all the issues I had with my loanofficer at Wells Fargo, that I regret purchasing a home with them. Its been 2 yrs now trying to get a refund for my escrow hold back and pulling teeth doesnt begin to tell you the hell I've been through. Finally when they decided to send me my long awaited check, without even letting me know it was to arrive by FED X, the FED X carrier unfortunately tied it to the inside of my automatic gate opener and my livestock ate it up!!! Now I am going through hell AGAIN trying to get another check sent me. BEWARE is all I can say! Disgruntled Customer in TX

My client got a well fargo home loan to do home improvements on their home here in San Diego. We are a General Contractor and have done several jobs like this over the past few years. If you can avoid using this service from Wells Fargo, you would be wise to do so.
There are always changes and problems that arise on a remodel of 100 year old home. How the staff at WF handled these issues was beyond unprofessional. To make long story kind of short, we had completed the sewer line, and exterior trim a month prior. The inspector told us he reported it complete. WF help up the payment saying that the interior work was not complete. The thing is, the interior work was being paid for by the client outside of WF. They also had a holdback fund in the 10's of thousands of dollars. The client and I explained that these were separate items and should be paid. The staff simply kept stating the work was not done. This went on for weeks and we found that they never even called the inspector.
We had to battle to get every bill paid, and they treated the client as if it was their money they were spending on his house. They did not address specific questions and would not admit any mistake was made, nor correct their own mistakes. Our client was ignored at times, and mostly responded to by the staff regurgitating policy instead of answering questions.
I have been Wells Fargo Customer for many years. This was the worst customer service at this level I have witnessed. Either Wells Fargo has such a terrible system that their staff is made to seem like they don't care, or they simply don't care.
Your map shows 2107 Wells Fargo Way, Minneapolis MN 55467 to be located at the intersections of South 3rd Avenue and South Washington Avenue in downtown Minneapolis. When in fact the address is at the interesections of 4th Avenue South and East 28th Street. This address is just south of downtown Minneapolis near Lake Street and Highway 35W South. I am glad I checked Rand McNally and verified the address with Mapquest before I headed out for a job interview!
