This little South Minneapolis shop has some of the hippest and most sought-after vintage goods this side of eBay.. In Short
Hunt and Gather is like a resting ground for all things cute, kitsch, cool and collectable. The store might be small in size, but it's big on style and selection, offering booths perfectly decorated in era flair. There's a little Arts and Crafts section, often with mission-style furniture in good condition or a Raggedy Ann doll whose heart really might need mending. And there's a mid-century hip section with high-design modern furniture that looks like it came right out of a cool cocktail lounge, a swingin' bachelor pad or even Restoration Hardware. As added inspiration, a little booth overflows with vintage printed fabrics that are also used by the owner to make an assortment of feminine and floral lampshades as well as purses and bags that are perfect for the knitter.
