In Short – Hopen, Malm, Aneboda-no, those are not suggestions to name your pet, but the Swedish names of IKEA's designer furnishings and decorative odds and ends. Created with a "one-way" layout in mind, shoppers weave through a labyrinth of seemingly endless showrooms stocked with equipment to creatively accessorize every room under the sun. Great Environment! Unique design and store layout... The design of the store try's to keep the shopper inside as long as possible and distract you from your orignal purchase ideas. Don't be tempted by the endless glitter of junk, and stick to what you came for. Service is non-existant and some items require that you seek an attendant, but there are none to be found! Prices are OK, it's very tough to find a deal. Selection is wonderful considering there's 3 huge floors of interior products. Some of the products you can't find anywhere, and the looks are very modern and similar to american retro 50's. The cafeteria is worth checking out... meatballs and potatoes are both tasty and good value. It's not the type of store you'll be in and out... expect to stay for about 3 hours to make it enjoyable and if possible avoid the weekend crowds.
- Pros: Ambience, Selection, Food
- Cons: Service, Prices
