Tips for A To G Music

Very helpful.. I went to this music store after going to a few other bigger stores and not finding what I needed. The worker (I think she was the owner) took the time to figure out what I needed (my kid broke his shoulder rest for his violin) it turned out she had replacement parts that she sold to me for a very reasonable price- much cheaper than buying a new one like the other stores suggested!

Really knows stuff. I have gotten my childs instrument needs a a to g music. They really know what a student needs. I am also interested in music lessons and have heard that they have a great staff of teachers.

Grumpy. I've been to this store a few times - since its opening on Main Street to its new location.

The owners know there stuff, but they have zero personality and just seem grumpy. I don't go there anymore because it's just not a good experience.

I'd love to support local business owners, but it's so bad at A to G, I'll shop at Schmitt.

Poor customer service - good selection of merchandise. I did not feel welcome at all here - greeted by unfriendly staff (whom I believe to be the owners) and treated like I was beneath them. They did have an impressive selection of reasonably priced merchandise, though. If customer service matters to you, go somewhere else.

Would I ever go back? ... no.

Unfriendly and High Prices. Visited A to G on a weekend to pick up some Clarinet supplies. The lady running the shop at the time was very unpleasant to work with. Why should I pay their high prices for bad service... No way! Never going back.

Genuine Mom and Pop Store. This store is the only place in town I know of that sells First Frets, which I think can be nice substitutes for tapes on the fingerboard. A to G also has a good supply of interesting sheet music for violin, and a good stock of string supplies and rental instruments.

A to G music helped to fill my acoustic guitar needs & are a fine local Alvarez guitar dealer. MANY thanks to Paul Winter & his family & staff members @ A to G music. They have helped to fill my acoustic guitar needs & are a fine local Alvarez guitar dealer, with the Yairi line also available in their humidity-controlled acoustic guitar section.

THe Alvarez Jumbo on my last cd cover came from there, as well as my lastest Yairi Wier sunburst acoustic special. Paul's son Aaron is very helpful, as well as being a talented guitar player- please check them out.

A to G has it all! Thanks Paul & Anna for your dedication to helping bring music into our lives.. My son has been taking guitar lessons with A to G for years and has become an excellent guitar player, thanks to Ben and A to G. The owners, Paul and Anna, along with their staff are always very friendly and extremely knowledgeable not only in guitars but, many other instruments. My Mom was interested in taking up violin, so she went in and asked a bunch of questions, she was so impressed, she purchased a violin from A to G and is planning on taking lessons soon. I am impressed with the volume of instruments and accessories they have available for purchase. I only wish they were in business when my kids were in band at school, because they have a great highschool band instrument program and its so close to home. I would highly recommend A to G for high school students in band. A to G is a wonderful business that fits perfectly in our small town atmosphere of Osseo. Paul and Anna have strong ties to Osseo and are very involved in our community, which is very important to me.

Best Music Store with great lessons in Northwest Hennepin County!!. I was pleasantly surprised to find a true Mom & Pop store that actually had a good selection of supplies for guitars as well as Band and Orchestra instruments! The owners waited on me personally. Let's see that happen at GC or Schmitt.

The prices were great and the selection of brands for acoustic guitars, band & string instruments. Their shining star is a violin brand from Kansas City - KC Strings. Their student level violin rivals other brands intermediate!

The also have a very experienced teaching staff covering piano, guitar, and all school instruments. My kids have taken lessons there for years and am very happy with their progress. Keep up the good work!
