What People Are Saying About Cup Cake Inc

In Short – Yes, cupcakes are the obvious confections of choice at this hip café/bakery, adorned with a huge, blue tea cup on the outside corner wall. Inside, an open kitchen encourages diners to sip their lattes while watching bakers lavish frosting on the signature sweets. Creative cupcakes (counter service only) to choose from include more than 30 variations like "banana pudding," "s'more," "chai tea" and "red velvet." Pizzas, soups, cookies, sandwiches and healthy salads are available for lunch and early dinner.
Editor's Tips
- The Extras:
- Sure, Cupcake excels in putting the finishing touches on the dessert du jour. But this little coffee-house bakery also serves up gooey croissants, frosted pull-aparts and flakey pastries that give those little frosted delights a run for their dough.
Lunch food is better than the cup cake

It's pretty expensive... but it's alright. The panini's take awhile, so if you're in a hurry don't go here for lunch. They are tasty and unique, but also could run you close to $9 each.
Cup cakes are nothing too special. A lot of them I could make myself and I'm not a very experienced baker. However, I've had one that was a mint chocolate and that was pretty good.
They have a beautiful patio area. It's worth going to at least once. It's next to a neat little antique shop also.
DISSAPOINTED

My friends and I went here the other day and we were sadly dissapointed! I have been craving a cupcake for a month now (sweet tooth) and googled some places that make cupcakes and Cup Cake Inc was the first to pop and and it looked like a very cute place and the cupcakes look VERY good. We tried the Red Velvet, Paris Hilton, Oreo and Smores... ALL were dry and just BLAH... nothing good about them. And the frosting for the Red Velvet was GROSS! I would never suggest to anyone going there and I will never be going back. I could make better cupcakes at home.
The upside to the place is that it's a very cute place.
Cupcakes are ok - Croissants are fantastic

I love the Chocolate Croissants, the down side is they seem to go quickly. The Cupcakes are ok, nothing to write home about. They need to some how re-work the traffic flow to view and pay for the goods. It seems to always be congested. Maybe they need one order taker and on ringer instead of both people doing the same function at the same time, something similar to Subway would work well, especially if it's busy. It' worth a visit, they need to make more Croissants on the weekend!!!!
- Pros: Nice Patio, Excellent Croissants
- Cons: Noisy, if busy it's hard to get to the register
Not worth it

I have gone to Cupcake twice now hungry for quality cupcakes. Both times I have been sorely disappointed with the quality of both the product and service. Both times the employees seemed annoyed to help me and left me feeling guilty for asking about the cupcakes. Also, on both occasions, the cupcakes were terrible. How does a business not perfect a product that its namesake? The cupcakes tasted as if they had been sitting in a refrigerator for weeks. The top of the cake on one of them was actually crunchy! The chocolate frosting tasted like an amateur concoction of mainly chocolate chips. Yuck! Do yourself a favor and skip the place!
- Pros: They have cupcakes
- Cons: The cupcakes are terrible
Not worth the money

I was very excited to go to this place. Many of my co-workers gave me a list of the cupcakes that they wanted to try. When we got there, they did not have 8 out of the 15 that we needed. I was also told that the person that makes the bread did not come into work that day so there was no bread either. What a disappointment. However, when I tried the cupcake, I was glad that they were out of the rest of them. These cupcakes are dry and small with little flavor. I would have expected a little bigger of a cupcake for $3. I could have made a more moist cupcake out of a box. This place is not worth the drive.
