In Short
Yes, cupcakes are the obvious confections of choice at this hip café/bakery, adorned with a huge, blue tea cup on the outside corner wall. Inside, an open kitchen encourages diners to sip their lattes while watching bakers lavish frosting on the signature sweets. Creative cupcakes (counter service only) to choose from include more than 30 variations like "banana pudding," "s'more," "chai tea" and "red velvet." Pizzas, soups, cookies, sandwiches and healthy salads are available for lunch and early dinner.

I went there with my boyfriend for a treat. We both got cupcakes, each a different kind. They weren't amazing...But they weren't bad either. I just don't think they were worth the $3 or so (ea.) we payed. They have a nice outdoor sitting space, but the inside seating is limited. Overall, it didn't leave an overwhelming impression, good or bad, on me. I wouldn't avoid trying out some of their "real" food if I were in the area, but I won't go rushing back for the expensive cupcakes, either.

Is close to my office and have tried a couple times for a quick coffee and lunch/treat. I've had a poor experience on multiple occasions. Much too price for the quality of food. Serves often seem grumpy and unhappy to be troubled with customers.

We were looking at purchasing 200 cupcakes for our wedding (used as centerpieces & cake). We were SO excited to come here, the cupcakes themselves are super pretty. But, ultimately, the taste is only so-so. Not worth nearly $3 per cupcake. My fiance actually compared the taste as: "the same ones you could buy at CUB for 99 cents, but CUB's are better".

The Extras:
Sure, Cupcake excels in putting the finishing touches on the dessert du jour. But this little coffee-house bakery also serves up gooey croissants, frosted pull-aparts and flakey pastries that give those little frosted delights a run for their dough.
