Worst Indian Resturant in Twin Cities. I recently visited this resturant from south minneapolis and found this resturant one of the worst in twin cities. There are only 2 people in the entire resturant serving food. We ordered Naan and Curry and in 2 minutes Naan was there but it took 15 minutes for the curry to come. The taste is pathetic. Looks like this resturant ancestors were holding SUGAR FACTOR because all dishes are sweet. We ordered for extra spicy and inspite of it everything was sweet. I wont suggest anybody in the twincities to visit this resturant. Waste of Money & time!.
Great food and service. This is a great option for Indian food in the NW suburbs. The waiters are very attentive and the food is outstanding. I love going to a restaurant where they remember you and they certainly do here. Try it out - you won't be dissapointed.
great customer service. I was craving some indian food and i had looked at other ratings of Inidan restaurants online and this seemed to be the best restaurant. The restaurant definitely exceeded my expectations. the waiter was very nice, my glass was always being filled with diet coke and water, we didn't wait long for our food, the food was the right temperature, and the overall restaurant was very welcoming. i ordered the chicken korma, my mom ordered the chicken curry, and we also ordered garlic naan. Their isn't anything negative i have to say about any of our orders, and my mom would agree.
Excellent Indian!. I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but I'm compelled to with this establishment. What a great place in a surprising location. My friend & I just stumbled upon it while attempting to go to a nearby restaurant that was unknowingly closed for renovations. In a strip mall, and not the greatest ambiance inside, but certainly not bad by any means. But the food was top-notch. Very complex. Not like other places where all you can taste is curry. When asked for how spicy I wanted my food, I said "medium", and it was bulls-eye medium. Even the iced tea was complex with flavors. Extensive menu, and great vegetarian selections too. Service was excellent. Not the most inexpensive place, but for food like this, it's not a bad value at all. It's 30 minutes away from me, but I'll be back for sure.
A surprise find. Bumped into the restaurant while looking for some chow while waiting for a movie at the Discount theater nearby. Did not expect much, but was pleasantly surprised!. Small restaurant, so service was fast and friendly. Menu had the usual favourites that we've noted in other Indian places around town. Ordered 2 vegetable samosas, 2 garlic naan, the beef vindaloo and a vegetable dish made with eggplant. We got papadams with our meal (very good!). The samosa were hot and fresh, but not that tasty. garlic naan was freshly made. We asked for extra spicy for both entrees and were not dissapointed at the level of heat. Beef vindaloo had plenty of meat, but both the dishes were slightly on the bland side. Overall, a great place if you're nearby and need to fill your tummy. But wouldn't purposefully return there again. Bill came to about 35 dollars. No drinks.
Best food in Brooklyn Center. Recommended! If you're feeling adventurous and like trying new things, you gotta check out the Great India in BC. The food is very flavorful, the naan bread comes out hot and fresh. Prices are very fair for Indian cuisine done right. Check it out next time you're in the area!
