It has its own bright orange doorway, but inside, this independent bakery occupies a corner of Java Jack's coffeehouse. Glass display cases show off the sweet goods: glaze-y polished Danish, chocolate cookies, croissants and frangipane tarts. Wood shelves behind hold the hearth-baked, hand-shaped artisan breads: levain, olive, multigrain, fruit and nut, white pain de mie. A friendly staff encourages sampling and the inviting vibe keeps neighborhood locals lounging even longer with their lattes.
