Didn't work.
I got an email that said I won $300 dollars off a package and so got one for my chin. Once they started doing the treatment, they told me I had to buy another package if I wanted them to treat my
jawline because that isn't actually my chin. For $1000 that most certainly is part of my chin! I continued going in for treatments for at least 2 years and didn't really see any results. (I am an ideal candidate for laser hair removal-fair skin and very dark hair). Whenever they asked if I was seeing results and responded "no," they accusingly asked if I was using the post-treatment lotion.
The staff isn't particularly professional and the treatment didn't work.…
Progress slow. I purchased a package to remove my underarm hair. The sales pitch sold me on hair free underarms in 8 treatments. The agreement held a 2 year satisfaction guarantee. At the end of the agreed sessions, I still did not have hair free underarms. I continue to go in for further treatments per the guarantee. I am in my third year and so far have had a total of 26 treatments. While I am seeing progress and am now about 80% hair free, I have still not achieved the desired results. I am trapped into continuing with them until I am hair free. If I had known I'd still be working on this three years later, I'd have never signed up for it. Please shop around and find a more effective practioner. I wish I had.…
STAY AWAY. I went to ALC after being called by their customer service saying I won a $300 coupon for services and if I scheduled an appointment for a free consultation within the dates the rep gave me my coupon would be turned into a $400 coupon. I was interested in laser hair removal so I scheduled the consultation appointment. Once given the price I was shocked, the manager realized this and added more and more discounts and free services pressuring me until I finally gave in. After leaving ALC i realized I had made a mistake and called to refund what I had just purchased. I was told the manager had just left and she was the only one that could do refunds so the receptionist took a message. I never received a call back and had to call her back. When I called she answered the phone and said she was really busy and would call back in five minutes. She never did, so I called her again. This time she again pressured me to reconsider and offered more free services. The manager at this time made me aware of a 10% cancellation fee. I called the next day demanding my refund and she finally took my credit card information but as of yet I am still waiting to receive the refund. STAY AWAY!!…
Does not work. I purchased a package to have hair removal for my underarms. I have gone for 14 treatments and have not seen any changes since I started. They tell me the number of times varies for each person and that it will work. I would think I would see some progress after 14 times and nothing. Do not waste your money on their services.…
ineffective, bad customer service. I went to ALC to continue with my laser hair removal. After my first session there, and not seeing results, I called the manager. I was assured that it would work and to continue with treatments, even though I explained that I had had laser hair removal in the past and knew what to expect. I was also told that they did not give refunds. Feeling I didn't have any other choice, I continued with my treatments. I went back for my fourth treatment the other day. At that time, my technician refused to do a portion of my body. I explained that they had done it the previous three times and it wouldn't make sense for me to want to do the areas adjacent to it, but not that area. I called the manager the next day and she maintained the technician did the right thing. Because they make you pay for your treatments in a package beforehand, I believe they feel that since they've already gotten your money they can offer really crappy customer service after that. Also, I am still dissatisfied with the results after 4 times of being there. My advice is to stick with small local businesses, get recommendations, and go somewhere where they will let you buy the service on on a time to time basis, instead of a "package".…
