Everything here is pretty great. I have always left satisfied. The only downfall is the slow service. However, the owner is so personable and friendly it's worth the wait.

Just returned from nearly 6 wks in amazing Thailand...wanted to find an authentic thai restaurant with Singha and SPICY food. Found it. I wanted to cry upon walking into Ban Thai. The service was friendly, and the cook from Thailand, and her husband travels there often too.....that alone made me want to come back. The portions are huge--definetly NOT thai style, more MN style, but hey, thats where we are! They cater to MN mild, or Thai hot!!!! Many authentic Thai dishes, thai beer, coffee and tea.....if wanting to reminisce of Thailand, come here....You will love it!
- Pros: Great chef, friendly staff, beautiful artwork
- Cons: In White Bear...far from me :(

The protions are huge, the food is authenitc, and the owner is so sweet and generous. It is unfortunate they don't get more business because it would be a shame if they close! The egg rolls are to die for, the pad thai is so heavenly!
