Great look, terrible food/prices. Sure it's beautiful and very up to date, but it still has to have good food.

Have tried this place twice now. First time, very poor service, slow and flat affect on the waiting staff. Steak was tough and chewy, albeit properly medium rare as ordered.

Second time, I ordered salad. Totally agree with other posters that they CAN NOT do vinegarettes here--way to acidic. Then my wife ordered the sliders, which came out completely raw in the middle. When we sent them back, they came back AGAIN completely raw. Not medium, but COLD and RAW inside. After asking for the manager, he agreed this was unacceptable and took the food off the bill. We left still hungary. Won't be going back.

Avoid,Avoid,Avoid,Avoid. The food is very average and way overpriced. The service is extremely bad, and management has their head up their bum. I highly recommend avoiding this place unless you want an evening to forget.

"Kozy's: A Valentines Day Tragedy". Dear fellow foodies,

I regret to inform you that my recent dining experience at Kozy's Steaks and Seafood was less that "kozy." My significant other and I decided to be adventurous and check it out for Valentine's Day, big mistake! As frequent diners we know the importance of making reservations for this very important and busy holiday far in advance. We had a reservation for 7:00 and waited until 8:00 to actually be seated. Our food proceeded to take equally as long and when it did come out it was cold. We ordered the dinner for two a whopping 155 dollars. The meal included a shrimp cocktail that was gigantic but slightly fishy and slimy, salads that were tossed with a red wine vinaigrette that was way too acidic. For the main course we were brought a lobster tail that was rubbery, overdone and cold! I wondered how long did it sit there before it was brought to our table? We also were brought a huge porterhouse that came out underdone which was disappointing because we don?t like our meat bloody and cold. In actuality the only thing worthwhile was a tasty chocolate tort and the half bottle of Veuve Clicquot ?a seemingly no brainer. Unfortunately foodies despite the kozy ambience that this restaurant has, I would not recommend it to anyone, at least not on a special holiday. In my dining experiences I have found far cozier options available at far better prices.

Nothing special, go elsewhere. The space is very "kozy" and nicely decorated. But the food is marginal and very overpriced. I have been here 3 times and finally determined that I will not give it another chance. I really wanted to like this place because of it's location and again, the decor is very kozy. But the menu doesn't jump out at you, nothing you couldn't get elsewhere for far less money. In a metro area where there are so many other great restaurants to dine, why waste your time on a so-so place like this one.

PHENOMENAL!!!. We went to Kozy's on a Friday night. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Everything we had was truely amazing. The waiter was attentive and knowledgeable on the food and drinks. The rest of my party ordered beers, but I had a mojito and it was good. You never know what you are going to get when you order one of those from a place that doesn't make them that often. I had the dueling seabass, it was incredible. My husband had the ahi tuna---it was to die for, the other couple we were with had chicken picatta and crab & lobster ravioli. Everything was amazing!

We will be back for sure. Thanks for a great evening Kozy's!

An upscale steakhouse nestled into Edina's tony Galleria Mall.. In Short
Kozy's is a spinoff of Jax Cafe, a northeast Minneapolis institution. With low lighting, white tablecloths and big, round booths, this place looks like a contemporary version of a classic steakhouse, i.e Jax. The menu, too, is old-school upgraded, a place where roasted beet salad and a sesame seared-ahi tuna appetizer compete with tuna-stuffed tomato and classic shrimp cocktails. Corporate VIPs, local suburbanites and Galleria shoppers come for hand-cut steaks and seafood, flown in daily.

Amazing steaks and crab cakes.. I love the smothered Ribeye they have on the menu. 16oz with onions and mushrooms on top of hashbrowns. A great meal for a hearty eater like myself. The round booths are some of the best seating in the area, especially by the fireplace. They have high backs so you are somewhat secluded from the people around you. The Tres Berry cake is killer, they don't have it all the time. I recommend it if they do. The wine selection is great. Spend the money and get a bottle of Silver Oak. My wife says we need to go back and have another bottle.

One Word - OverPriced!!!. Food was good as one would expect from Jax's. I know it is a social place for the Galleria crowd, but the proces are just too high - period!

Is anyone actually cooking here?. The food here is exceptionally poor in quality and execution, and we haven't even had the high buck items like seafood and steak. The "mashed" potatoes tasted like paste, and it appears as if the food is pre-cooked and then slopped on the plate. At brunch the huevos rancheros were a mess of scrambled eggs and the prime rib hash was gigantic chunks of beef that tasted as if it were reconstituted in boullion. When is someone going to tell them that the food has got to be a lot better than this to fill up those fancy seats? Sunday brunch was like a ghost town.

Not worth the price.... I had a fantastic filet mignon w/ small side salad. YHere, you order your side dish extra (+$3-6). My husband had the panko crusted seabass and thought that splendid. However, it's odd that they place your meat on such a huge plate by itself, serving your side dish on a separate plate. I thought that bad food presentation. Our waitress then recommended the Bailey's chocolate cake (awesome) and Tiramisu (bland). They charge too much for average ambiance, average service, and below average food presentation. The food was good, but not worth the price. I was hoping for more of an experience: Fix the ambiance and make it more "cozy," have the waitstaff a bit less Cheesecake Factory bold and more soft and personal, present the food in a way that makes one forget they had to order the side dishes extra... well - I would think that's common sense.
