Hot Mama in Edina - Favorite stop
by jenniferha
After having two children, I have visited Hot Mama in Edina several times in the last few years and made a few on-line purchases. I've always been pleased with their customer service and products - premium denim, funky and fun tops, great accessories. The knowledgeable staff always gives honest feedback, and they are very willing to give you one-on-one help with tougher purchases (like jeans!). Although the prices may be comparatively high, you definately get what you pay for. I find that the clothes I buy from Hot Mama last much longer, wash and wear better, and garner many compliments from friends and co-workers. Living out in rural western Minnesota, Hot Mama is definately a stop on a visit to "The Cities". Even my husband and kids will keep themselves busy with the big couch, games, crackers and computers while I browse. Definately a fun shop!
- Pros: Service, Ambience

?Snooty Boutique? ? to good to help customers who are normal
by SallyHanson
Women, please be prepared before you enter this posh boutique, unless you are a replica of one of the stars on the current circuit the boutique employees will not approach or even make eye contact with you. Clothes are cute, but with the economy who wants to spend $300 on a pair of jeans when a different store just as cute with better service down the road you can purchase for less than $100? Concept is cute but not worth it.
- Pros: Cute Concept
- Cons: Price, Service
only hot if you're itty-bitty

If you're over a size 14 (the size of the average American woman), then there's nothing here for you. If I can only buy accessories from you, then I'm clearly not your target customer and I'll go somewhere else instead.
