In Short – Polished young professionals unwind by sipping sunset-colored Viewtinis (rum, Chambord, pineapple and orange juices) in the sleek, bustling bar area. Front-row reveling is prime in the cozy lounge booths, where bar food goes the way of spring rolls, coconut shrimp and aged cheese plates. The dining room is a more intimate affair of velvet sofas and mood lighting, where Lakes-area locals can savor filet mignon with a zinfandel reduction in a more appropriately sophisticated setting.
Great food and service

Nice decor, great employees, fabulous food. The Steak Salad is to-die-for. The always-watchful management ensures you're being taken care of. The service is casual and friendly, personal. A great place to relax after work.
- Pros: Friendly employees, disciplined operation
- Cons: Can be a little loud for quiet conversation
Mediocre food

I'm surprised to find so many positive review about View. My husband and I went for the first time yesterday for Sunday brunch and couldn't be more disappointed in a restaurant that looks nice and has a great location. I ordered the crab eggs benie and all I could taste was red peppers. My husband had a dried out omelet. I suppose I'm not surprised- there no line to get in for popular Sunday brunch and the manager was sitting on the stairs in the main dining area talking on his cell phone.
- Pros: Good location
- Cons: Bad food and quiet during brunch
