Avoid eating dinner in the bar.. I went there with a group of friends for my birthday and was disppointed. The appetizers were great, but the entrees were quite bad. We had to get some food taken off our bill because it was so gross. We also were seated in the bar and it was so noisy we couldn't hear each other and they didn't tell us ahead of the time that we would be in the bar. The restaurant was beautful and parking was free, other than happy hour I would not go back.

GREAT SERVICE, INVITING ATMOSPHERE. My fiance and I went for brunch. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Food was also delicious! I liked the contemporary look to the place and also the atmosphere. I'll be celebrating a birthday there so I'm looking forward to going back w/friends! Good place to stop in for a bite if you've been strolling around the Uptown/Lake area.

wonderful experience. a group of us went there for dinner. we sat at in the dining room which was beautiful and a more calm than the bar area as expected! our server brian was very friendly and helpful. we started off with the calamari, mushrooms, and view fries for appetizers. the mushrooms and the calamari were outstanding. i had the fish special which was great, the server also recommended the pork tenderloin and the ahi tuna, which other people in our group ordered. they loved their meal as well. the stand out of the evening was the tomato avocado and mozzarella salad and the cheesecake, they were both the best i have ever had :) we will definitely go back.

Great night in snow storm. Thanks View, My date and I really enjoyed the friday night snow storm at the view .Donald was just great. the calamari is my new favorite and my date loved the tomato,avocado, and mozzerlla was fabulos

the brasied short ribs and the fetticine with your new homemade pasta really nice. Then room for dessert chocolate dreams. Oh yea, thanks for the parking token. see you sooner then the snow.

Not too impressed.... Don't go for the food... very bland and mediodre compared to most restaurants in the Uptown Circuit. The ambiance is a big improvement from Dixies and the Patio looks nice, however a little too much traffic noise for me. I would maybe go back for a drink or something, but definitely not if I have an appetite.

Just okay. I came to dinner here with my boyfriend and thought this place was just okay. The atmosphere was very pretty, but the food was not good at all. I would ONLY go here for drinks and that is it. I ordered a pasta dish that tasted similar to my $1.20 box of Pasta Roni I made two nights earlier. I would go back, but don't bother ordering any food here.

Great Happy Hour spot!. Went out to try this place for happy hour. Friendliest bartender I have ever met! He recommended wines, and even gave a taste-test to my date.

The wine was excellent, really cheap, and the food was great too. Try the fries, trust me!

Great view of the lake, and outside seating in warm weather. The decor and atmosphere is really great, Asian inspired, with warm colors that make you want to stay a while. Overall, great experience!

Great patio!. I was a little intimidated by this place before we went but I ended up having a great time. Some nights there is a huge wait to get out on the patio but its worth it. We went on a Sunday night and were seated immediately. The prices weren't as bad as I envisioned them being especially if you're just going to have a laidback evening. The service was average but its definitely worth trying!

Nice service, pretty good food. We had a group of 7 people on a Wed. night and received great service. Appetizers were very tasty. Drinks were overpriced, but our pal having a birthday was given a complimentary martini. I had the fish of the day and really enjoyed it - sea bass with an olive, tomato and caper salsa. Others in the group stuck to burgers and were less impressed - said they were good, but nothing special.

The ambience inside is cool, but we were very disappointed that the beautiful deck was closed, just because there was rain earlier in the day.

Also, the $2 parking at the Calhoun Beach Club ramp is a great bonus.

I would recommend the View....and hopefully with time it will get even better.

Too loud. The noise level in here is deafening, maybe its the annoying crowd or the acoustics of the place. Has potential but some things need to be sorted out. Very uncomfortable when I visited, its like each person trying to undo the other shouting/loud wise.
