I found Alcazar cleaning on a google search and decided to have them come for the duct and vent cleaning, which I believe that they did a good job on, but they were also to do the carpets the same day and charged for both services at once. We had not moved into the house yet so we left the doors unlocked for the worker to come back when he did the job. He came late in the day and called to say that he forgot to clean one of the rooms that we had reminded him to do, as it was under the stairs. He called to inform me that the carpet was in bad shape and some of the stains were permanent and they use expensive enzymes to remove the stains, but the enzymes were not strong enough to get the stains out of my carpet. When we moved into the house we noticed that all the stains remained and thought that maybe they were just that bad. I decided to work at one of the stains that looked like coffee with some Clorox. To my amazement I didn't even have to scrub the stain to remove it from the carpet. I looked at another stain that remained and it was just a surface stain, to which I removed with water. I removed another stain with a $1 carpet cleaning spray. Angered by this I decided to call Alcazar and they informed me that the enzymes move the stains to the surface and don't remove them, but they don't go over the stain again to remove it. Being that the stain was only on the surface it would have come off if they even went over it lightly. I tried to get my money back from them after coming to the conclusion that they hadn't even done the carpet cleaning and they refused a refund, telling me that it's not their policy to refund money. They would do the carpets again, but not refund anyone because it's not in the policy. I just want to inform anyone that wants to hire a good carpet cleaner: (1) be there when they do it, (2) don't pay in advance, (3) make sure that they did the work, all of it. I'm sure they do great work when they do it, but unfortunately I couldn't tell you!
Pros: The rep that I talked to lowered his price for competition, and from what I can tell, did a good job on the vents/ducts.
Cons: I don't believe that they actually did the carpet cleaning
