Hip hair salon. I have been going to this salon for over two years. It is truly a fun and hip

place to go for hair and other beauty services. Annette is my hair stylist

and Mi_Shaun highlights my hair. Both are excellent at what they do.

Won't go anywhere else. Like others said, I followed my stylists from a well known "chain" salon in Uptown a couple years ago, and wouldn't go anywhere else. Cute salon, well designed, interesting art work and relaxed feel. Not at all like many snooty overpriced salons I've mistakenly walked into!! I go to Emily for color, Minjo for cut. I have been asked by strangers off the street where i get my hair colored, so I'm not the only one who thinks it looks good!! Highly recommend both gals!

AWESOME SALON!!. This salon is awesome! The atmosphere is so fun and relaxed. All the stylists are friendly and experienced. My stylist worked in an Uptown salon and like a loyal customer I followed her to The Beauty Room and was so much happier with the atmosphere and friendliness of the stylists. I HIGHLY recommend Erin, she is fun and laid-back. She definately knows what she's doing when it comes to doing hair :]

Great place to relax and chat. I was going to a salon in Uptown when my stylist moved to Beauty Room. I was put off at first, being that the other was so close to my house, but I love my stylist so I followed her. So glad I did! Apart from the construction just outside on Lake Street, this place is great! Small, intimate space with only a few stylist, warm copper and pink decor, great art by local artists and jewelry makers that changes every time I go. Very reasonable prices for services, and the staff is so friendly. They seem to work as a team, one colors, one cuts, which is rare for a salon.

I have not tried their massage service yet, but want to. If you go, ask for Erin, she is the best!!!

Unibrow gone, pores cleansed, spectacular massage. I went to The Beauty Room to get a nasty unibrow taken care of and ended up getting talked into my first facial while I was there. I was skeptical, but I came out looking really good! One of my coworkers actually told me I now have the best eyebrows she's ever seen on a man. Plus, Jen, the esthetician there, gives an unbelievable facial massage in the process. I'll be back.

Most creativity and fun atmosphere. The beauty room rocks!! It is a small salon with a comfortable atmosphere. No corporate, pretentious feel. All stylists and colorists have many years experience and are great at coming up with new, fun ideas!!
