I was a regular at JUUT salon, but I needed a change, so I thought I'd try a new salon. I looked online and saw that Tres Jolie had a lot of 5-star reviews so I thought I'd check it out. I just got back from getting a haircut and style and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! The reviews were right on. I am very picky, and my hair is very stubborn. I've always had to tweak whatever the stylist did for me to make it something I actually like. I came in today with a hair tie in my pocket, prepared to put my hair back when I left so I could go home and make it presentable. The hair tie is still in my pocket and I don't plan on taking it out. Awesome hair cut, awesome service from Jason S. He is truly talented! Thank you so much Tres Jolie!!!

Having recently relocated to Mpls, I've been traveling back & forth to Chicago just to get my hair cut & colored from my stylist there. I was hesitant to find a new place here b/c I didn't want to suffer through the whole "finding a new stylist" phase. When it got to the point where my grays were relentless - I finally did some research and came upon Tres Jolie. Marlee, the colorist, had rec'd so many great reviews that I decided to make an appointment with her. Unfortunately, the day of my appointment, 12/16, there was a huge snow storm and not being used to driving in the snow - I was a 1/2 hour late. The salon was great about letting me keep my appt (probably b/c I called like 5x from the road) and Marlee was so patient with me, despite me being her last appt of the night. She did a FANTASTIC job on my color. I actually really like my own natural hair color, I just need to color the 20 gray hairs that keep popping up - so I actually don't want a new color - I just want the grays to match my color! Marlee knew exactly what to do and it was the first time that a colorist used 2 separate colors on my roots and ends - which makes sense b/c the ends should be slightly lighter. The result was PERFECT! The next day people were commenting on how shiny and glossy my hair looked - but never mentioned that the color looked different - that's a good thing! During my cut Marlee asked if I needed a hair cut - which I did and she suggested Gina. I was glad that being 7pm at night - they were still willing to fit me in for a cut!! Gina also did a GREAT job on my cut! She took her time both cutting and styling - never making me feel like I had inconvenienced anyone. I love my cut - it's better than my previous one. Both my cut & color are looking better than even after my Chicago salon! I'm so glad that I finally found a hair "home" in Mpls! I look forward to seeing both Gina & Marlee again!!! This is a great salon - highly recommended!
