benjamin is wonderful. I have been going to Benjamin for over six years and have never been disappointed. He is talented, knowledgeable about hair care and styling and a delight to talk to. He is a true gem and a rare find.

Fabulous Cut and Blow Out from Craig!. And I thought that I had a good stylist at Juut! Decided to shop for a new stylist, my colorist referred me to Craig at Tres Jolie ... best referral I've had in a long time!

The cut is incredibly easy to style. The blow out was fabulous - glamorously casual, and it held for 2 days - maybe longer if I could go without washing for more than that.

The salon has a great energy to it, and everyone is super nice.

Great experience and happy to have found a new stylist without any drama or trauma. : )

Amazing extensions for guys !!!. Just when you think that extensions are for only for girls, think again! I have fine thin and short hair. I heard of a technique for hair like mine where someone can "tie" in strand by strand ! At first I was thnking I'd be there for 24 hours with only strand by strand. I had 600 new hairs in 1.5 hours!!!! My hair feels thicker and styles way better. I will definitely be keeping this up! I can finally style my hair the way I want to. Melissa is the best!

Terrible experience with Sarah. I went to Tres Jolie for the first time in search for someone who could help me to fix the bad color another colourist in the city had put in my hair. I had total ashy hair and Sarah was able to fix the color and give me a nice, not exceptional, color.

However, my last experience with her was terrifying!

I went to Tres Jolie in September to have my color done once more with Sarah and cut with James. I asked for a caramel color with light honey highlights. I told her I had a very important event in DC in that week and I really needed to look good.

Sarah ended up doing the exact same thing the previous colourist did to my hair! I end up with orange roots and ashy/green ends. I left the salon and was in panic; and thought about going to see someone else. But, since she had done a good job the first time, I thought about giving her another chance. So I went back to Tres Jolie (lost another day at work) and sat in her chair for 3 hours. She promised she would fix my hair, however, after 3 hours and tons of products, my hair was exactly the same. Extremely ashy in the ends, totally different from the roots. I looked absolutely ridiculous. I got so depressed, especially because of the event I had to attend the day after. I flew all the way to DC and could not go to the event as I was ashamed of my hair. It was ruined, ruined. It really killed my self esteem. I cried for the 3 days I was in DC and did not want to get out of the hotel.

James did a good job with the cut; however, I will never go back to Tres Jolie. It seems other colourist do a good job with color from the reviews I see here. However, I would not recommend Sarah.

Another awesome color and cut by Craig!. Thanks to Craig for another amazing color and cut. I walked it feeling like a burned out mom and came out feeling like a hot momma! Thanks for Craig for not only making me look and feel beautiful, but the awesome conversation and experience. The Tres Jolie Salon has the most relaxing positive vibe. I just love it! Thanks, I can't wait to show off my new do!

The Best Color and Hair Extensions!!!!!!. I have been using Craig Weitz for several years. He is by far the best stylist in Minneapolis, MN... and in my opinion the world!!!

I was never able to have my hair as long and thick as I desired. However, thanks to Craig and his hair extensions I have exactly what I have dreamed of all my life. In addition, Craig has given me the best hair color I have ever had. He is so talented at choosing color that fits your skin tone. With the results being very bright and youthful looking. Craig is a true artist!!!

My extensions and hair color look so amazing that my family and long time friends keep telling me how great my hair looks, but have no idea that I have extensions.

Everyday, I think WOW another great hair day:)

Craig Weitz transformed me! Love my extension!. Just received my third set of extensions (first two were Great Lengths-whose hair quality went to pot-third set was Extend Your Beauty).Craig Weitz is the best thing to happen to Tres Jolie! Craig did my first extension install. He did an amazing job of blending them into my natural hair (which is where the real skill comes in), and over-filled with the expectation that yes, you will lose some, but let's not compromise the fullness!

My second set of extensions was done with another stylist at another salon. The cost savings came at the expense of less hair. Knowing you're going to lose some, you can't afford to skimp on the hair in the beginning.

Went back to Craig for this last install. The results are nothing short of amazing! I had been worried that my natural hair may have been compromised by all these extensions (read too many horror stories) but it was healthier than ever! And getting longer too! Craig works wonders...again, he over-filled. I have an amazing FULL head of hair again! And nobody would ever be able to tell it's not my hair! I'm addicted! And nobody knows extensions like Craig!

My review. I was impressed with my first experience at Tres Jolie. Benjamin was welcoming. He took the time to talk with me about my previous hairstyles and what I was currently looking for. The salon team had a great vibe, as well. They were all very friendly toward me and got along well with each other. Benjamin gave me a great cut that fit my personality, style, and face shape. His technique of layering my short hair really helped give it a textured, full look without using a razor-- it was great!! I received compliments right after leaving the salon!

WOW...! Is all I have to say...!. I had the most amazing experience at Tres Jolie Salon...! Benjamin gave me an experience I will never forget!!! First.... Had the best consultation I've ever had! Second... First time I've ever had a fabulous scalp massage! Third... First time I've had my brows done with perfect symmetry! Forth... The best lash tint I've ever had! Finally... I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new hair cut and style!!! Thank You so much for the best experience I've ever had...!

Bad Experience With Benjamin. My experience with Tres Jolie took place about two years ago but someone recently prompted me to write a review. I can understand it has been a long time but the experience I had at this salon was stuck with me and honestly was the worst I have ever experienced.

Once I arrived at the salon everyone was friendly and professional. The problem I had was specific to my stylist Ben. He did not listen to what I asked for and seemed very preoccupied with himself talking to me about his personal relationships and the problems he was having with his family at the time. I was 28 at the time and I had a few gray hairs floating around my head. I told him I was aware of this in a joking manor, then he proceeded to ask me seriously "How does it feel to be going grey at YOUR age?" I was really taken a back and honestly hurt. The cut was not worth the money and he really did not do anything fantastic. After leaving, I was really shocked at how unprofessional he was and of course disappointed that after reading all of his raving reviews my cut was not up to par for a professional, it was more like a student had just cut my hair.
