Fail. My vegetarian fajitas had chicken in it tonight. I discovered it after I ate most of the veggies. The waiter had no clue of my concerns. The hostess took personal phone calls.

I normally really like this place but tonight it wasn't great.

I love Las Margaritas. This place rocks! Ive eaten there at least 30-40 times and went for drinks a dozen more. All the staff is extremely friendly, many of them struggle with english a bit but they get what your saying! The food is awesome. Be sure to order the queso dip with your complementary chips and salsa. Its excellent. Whoever wrote the bad review for this place must have been having a really bad day. There are no Mariachi bands or people screaming into microphones! I certainly have never been made to clap and cheer. Try this place out if you havent yet and you will be back again soon, I promise you!

Great mexican food. I agree with parklady. Ersy's review is way off base. This is a nice, quiet little Mexican place. No loud music. The food is excellent. Highly recommend the fajitas. Chips and salsa are fresh. Service is good. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Do not listen to ersy's review!!!!. I have been to Las Margaritas at least a dozen times and not once have I heard "some guy blasting his voice into a microphone" or has anyone clapped after a song. I do not know which restaurant ersy was referring to but it was not Las Margaritas. They're food is delicious and the servers are friendly. The chips and salsa are amazing as well as the fajitas, burritos, flautas, and taco. I highly recommend the flautas. So, visit Las Margaritas if you are in Cottage Grove and you will have a fun, quiet and very satisfying time!!!

Sorry I went!. Ya know, I read the reviews of how "authentic" this place was, and so i was willing to give it a try. Having lived in the southwest, my wife and myself get a little nervous when our friends from Cottage Grove stated how authentic this place is. Upon arrival I saw some guy blasting his voice into a microphone. Tacky,,it was so loud, and after every song everyone had to clap...blah blah blah......the worst part though was the food.....mine was burned. How do you send out fajitas that were burned this bad. We ate after the rush time. The food should be fresh, and more attention needs to be placed on quality. Just give me homestyle, authentic food, and hold the rest of the stuff. Maybe it's a Minnesota thing? I don't know.....the food is what makes you.....I knew I should have listened to our friends.....best mexican---I think not. Keep trying...
