Coley is fantastic.. I have never had a cut that I would not have to get to my car and tame becuase the stylist had poofed up my hair, and would try to make it look all Hollywood. Also, I would always have to get home, shower and re-do my hair (including trimming areas) because my stylist would not pay attention to the details, and flo of my hair. Coley is the opposite. I know that when she does my hair I can jump in my car and go out for the evening becuase it is going to look like me, not what the stylist thinks is me. AND I NEVER have to trim it when I get home because she takes the time to look at my hair from all angels, and snips it to perfection!! I have never been dissapointed when I left. She is an amazing hair person, and has a great down to earth personality as well!! Thanks Coley, you have given me hair hope! : )

Best Salon in Twin Cities. This salon is the absolute best - I have never walked out of the salon feeling horrible about the way I look - Jim (the owner) takes pride in training each person and it shows.....

Best Hair Salon in the T.C.. I have never been treated so well by a place before, I had a wax done by MJ pre-hair cut and she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!! She knew way more about skin than anyone should, and recommended some very very good product for my skin ( I am very Norwegian and have sensitive/dry skin).

The receptionist was very helpful and kept me informed as Justine was running a few minutes behind but it was WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!! Nobody has ever given me such a thorough consultation before, and she was spot on!!! I was very very wary at first, since I have pretty much had the same hairstyle since the mid 90's. But it fit perfectly for my face structure, and I still receive compliments daily ( I HAVEN'T BEEN IN FOR 6 WEEKS!) Even my boyfriend said I looked 10 years younger with my new style.

The place was just newly re-done, and it is GORGEOUS, very good layout, made me feel like I was in Manhattan, not St. Paul. Only downside is the off street parking is limited, but I have always been able to find a spot close, however, sometimes cramped!

Couldn't be happier!. I needed something new, after the same style for 15+ years. It's a drive for me, 30 minutes in good traffic, but absolutely worth it. I get complimented all the time on my hair. Sarah has been doing a fabulous job with both cut and color, as well as product selections and styling tips. I recommend this salon to anyone looking for great service, friendly staff, and pleasant atmosphere.

AMAZING COLOR. I love my hair color by Justine at Roots Salon. She is AWESOME. She has an excellent sense of style and color, with the technical expertise to back that up. I have tough hair to color with dark roots and gray and I want the natural look. (not all over one color) So there are high lights, low lights etc. etc. I always look amazing when I leave and get compliments from strangers! The price is more than I used to paying, but its all worth it. The only negative; I don't plan far enough ahead and her schedule books up. She is very accomodating and gets me in her schedule somehow! Keep up the good work!

WHAT A JOKE!. I'm never going back...Marissa did a fine job on my foiling, but twice in a row Jim has chopped my hair

into a cut that is IMPOSSIBLE to style. He charges a fortune (which I'll pay for a good cut) and acts

like some kind of hollywood something...what a phony, he doesn't know what the *#CK he's doing.

The salon itsself is quite nice but if you go for a cut avoid Jim, Marissa does a better job at a lower

price, but I personally wouldn't recommend going at all.
