I found this shop for a friend of mine last year and they were great for her wedding dress. So when I was getting married this year-naturally went back. I ordered my wedding dress from another shop, but we got the bridesmaid dresses from DMB. I called 6/16/08 and was not only told the dresses were not in yet, but that they would take another month. When we ordered they said it could take 4-6months. well july would be 6 months. The salesperson who answered my call was not only rude, but made sure that I knew I was not to call about the dresses again. I was told they would call me when the dresses arrive. I was upset about the treatment of my phone call. It had been 5 months and just wanted to check the status. Sorry never been a bride before and just wanted everything to go well. Well second week of July came and went. NO phone call. I called on the 18th and was told that my dresses have been there for a month and now there is a fee. The person stated that the computer said they had called me when the dresses came in and i have not come to get them, so there is a storage fee on all of the dresses. I told them that i had never received a call and will not be paying a fee. They said if you come now-we will not charge you a fee. Well 6pm 1 hour drive and sweltering heat later- i got to the shop. The owner restated that they called-the computer says so. I did not pay a fee. I checked my phone bill when i got home- no call from them. They still deny they did anything wrong. Very poor sevice and organization not thier strong suit. Would not send my worst enemy to them. Think twice about going to get anything from this shop.
Pros: they get you into the shop quickly
Cons: once you order your a pain, and they are not organized.

After a horrible experience at The Wedding Shoppe, I found a dress online that caught my eye, and Dena Marie was selling it. They were open on Sunday (which most aren't), and didn't require an appointment. A staff member gave us a quick schpel and then told us to pick some out and she promptly put them in a room for me. She answered all my questions, gave insightful suggestions, and I bought it from her on the spot! I haven't looked at bridesmaids dresses, tuxes and my dress won't be back from ordering until September--but I had to write a review. If you're looking for a dress, I HIGHLY recommend checking this little shop out, it was sweet as can be...and I LOVE my dress (and it's not sold anywhere else in MN!)
Pros: Helpful Staff, Great Selection, Clean, Easy-going, Convienient Parking, Location & Hours
Cons: humm, none!
