Really Good TexMex. We moved back to MN after 23 years in Texas. We never found a good MN texmex restaurant until now. The atmosphere was definitely south texas and the food was great! As with most MN salsas, we found it to be too much tomato and not enough cilantro hot, but don't let that stop you from trying. We will go back again!

A Place That Goes Above and Beyond. My husband and I go to La Casita for their great margarita specials and their fast delicious food. We recently took a whole group of out of town guests there. We had been boating all day... so you know how hungry we were. We didn't realize until we got there that it was closing time. They kept the place open for us and were very friendly! Our waitress and the host were very gracious, and they didn't skimp on anything. Absolutely fantastic place!

BEST Mexican Food in Minnesota!. At La Casita, you can rest assured that no matter what you order, you'll go home with a happy tummy. I have dined at this restaurant countless times and have always enjoyed hot, delicious food and cheerful service. The meals arrive fast--sometimes with the melted cheese still bubbling from the oven--and have just the right amount of spice. Along with a complimentary chips and salsa bar during the lunch hour, La Casita also serves a number of excellent desserts, including churros, apple chimichangas, chocolate volcanoes, and fried cinnamon ice cream. I would definitely recommend the cheese enchiladas, Burrito Supreme, El Grande Burrito, and refried beans. Although these foods are not necessarily examples of authentic Mexican cuisine, they're certainly the best I've ever had in the entire state!
