Gush-fest for Faith. Let me Gush about Faith, who has been styling my hair for about 1.5 years at Moxie-Midway. I have long brown hair and I like to make drastic changes that are still acceptable in a professional environment. She plays with beautiful color and highlights to give me results that everyone who sees me notices and compliments. While doing this she takes in to account keeping my hair healthy and not killing it with chemicals.---Faith has incredible instinct too. When I come in with ideas she can finish my sentences when I start describing what I want and she adds flare I would have never thought of. When I have no ideas, she comes up with something I always love.---Faith is also the only one I’ve ever trusted enough to wax my brows. She makes it painless and the results look natural, never over-plucked.---On a personal level I would never expect my stylist to remember the things we talk about when chit-chatting during an appointment. I once told Faith a story about my little brother and she asks me about him every appointment. I am always so touched by that.---Finally, I’d like to echo what another reviewer said about the staff at Moxie-Midway. I’ve had several of the associates wash my hair and I’m never disappointed. Everyone I speak with is friendly and professional.

Great, beautiful hair by Matty. I first started seeing Matty for my cuts and colors back when Moxie in St. Paul opened about 3 years ago. I've been a loyal fan of Moxie and client of Matty's ever since. He continuously and consistently gives me awesome cuts and colors and I refer everyone I know to him. He showed me how to take care of my hair and style it so I look great all the time. When I first saw him in 2005 his cuts were $20 at a Junior Stylist level and I can honestly say I'm happy to pay his $50 Executive Stylist price because he's the man and he knows what he's doing! I see it as he's just becoming more and more successful and sought after! His coloring skills are amazing too!

The only place I'll let someone touch my hair. I have very long blonde hair and I like to keep it in good condition. When I first moved to the area, Moxie looked too modern for me, with all of it's hip employees and it's cool interior. I felt intimidated and scared I'd be too "vanilla". I got my first appointment with Faith and I will never go anywhere else from now on. She's so friendly and cute and her haircuts and colors are the best I've had anywhere. She takes her time to make sure you're happy and that you look like a million bucks. I look forward to every visit and people always ask where I get my hair done.

Every employee is really helpful and talented. I'd feel comfortable with anyone there and I definitely can't say that about any other salon I've been to. Sarah did my half up, wavy hair style for my wedding and I couldn't have been more happy with it. She is really creative and a great listener. She made me feel calm on a stressful morning and I felt proud to show her the photos of our wedding and how great my hair looked all day and night.

Amazing Results!. I went to Moxie for the first time today and got a cut and color with Faith. She took my grown out long heavy hair and made it look, as my husband said, "like the hair on tv". This cut is technically better than any cut I have had in my life, and the color is amazing. I will definitely be going back!

I feel refreshed and beautiful! Thanks to Matty!. I came in and saw Matty recently and left feeling great! He gave me a cut and color and beautiful make up application! I had read so many positive reviews and I'm really happy I went. It was nice because I had mentioned I was going out that night for a girls night and he took the extra time and did my makeup! It looked and felt great and was stunning in my pictures from the night. People were commenting on my whole look all night! I'll definitely be going back to him!

Matty is so talented!. I have been going to Matty for almost 2 years now. He has always given me styles, cuts and colors other people love, along with myself. He has taken me from pretty much a sassy bob to now a really hot layered cut. I have coarse curly hair and he has helped me tame it through working his magic and and showing me how to take care of it at home! He has recently been incorporating a "PM Shine" in with my color! It's heavenly! It glosses over my hair and makes it feel like silk! I love it! He not only has done me, but almost every other woman in our office and they all adore him and the work he does.

We all love how he can almost feel the styles and colors that will look best on us! It's great and we all will keep on referring our friends!

So if you're looking for a great, experienced stylist in a fun atmosphere check out Matty! He's a hair genius and well worth the value! He gets it done and gets it done right!

DUDES1 Get your hair cut Kristen, Nice people...cool place. I've been meaning to write this since Thanksgiving, when I was back in Minny.. needed a cut BAD, I live in a small remote town with one barber with a dull sickle.. I mentioned the need to my niece who also lives in a small town with 2 barbers w dull sickles,, They were returning to Moxie on Snelling and we made it a party.. I was lucky to have Kristen cut my hair. she listens, take a pic if you have one, she cuts good hair! .. been a month now.... It' was a vibrant place, good energy the night we were there.. Thanks Kristen ,I'll see you next year.... i love minny! BandonJim

VERY UNHAPPY WITH COLOR RECIEVED BY SARAH!. I'M A COLLEGE STUDENT IN THE TWIN CITIES AND WENT TO SARAH BECAUSE SHE WAS WITHIN MY PRICE RANGE. I ASKED FOR SOFT HIGHLIGHTS BUT ENDED UP COMING OUT PRETTY MUCH A FULL BLONDE. I'M A BRUNETTE WITH SHOULDER LENGTH HAIR AND THERE WERE SO MANY FOILS MY HEAD WAS GETTING HEAVY. I THINK SHE CALLED IT MICRO FOILING AND I DIDN'T KNOW BETTER SO I WENT ALONG WITH IT. BUT NOW I KNOW IT'S EXACTLY WHAT I DIDDDN'T WANT. MY HIGHLIGHTS ARE SO BLENDED YOU CANNOT SEE ANY DEFINITION. SHE STARTED LATE WITH MY APPOINTMENT AND I ENDED UP BEING THERE OVER 3 HOURS, TO ME THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE. I'M NOT IMPRESSED WITH HER. BUT THE PLACE IS FUNKY AND CLEAN AND THE REST OF THE STAFF WAS REALLY FRIENDLY.

BEST HAIR EVER! :). SO I STARTED HAVING MATTY DO MY HAIR ABOUT THREE YEARS AGO AND HE'S ALWAYS DONE AN AMAZING JOB. WE'VE DONE SO MUCH WITH IT - FROM 'BOB' LENGTH TO SUPER SHORT AND SPIKY TO BRILLIANT COLOR. I ALWAYS GET TONS OF COMPLIMENTS ON IT WHEREVER I GO - EVEN AFTER IT'S STARTED TO GROW OUT AND NEEDS TO BE TRIMMED, PEOPLE LOVE IT! HE'S THE ONLY STYLIST I'VE EVER FELT CONFIDENT ENOUGH IN TO WALK IN AND SAY "CUT IT OFF" AND JUST LET HIM DO WHATEVER HE FEELS WILL WORK BEST. EVERY TIME SOMEONE ASKS WHERE I GOT MY HAIR DONE, I ENTHUSIASTICALLY DIRECT THEM TO MATTY AT MOXIE ST. PAUL; I COULDN'T RECOMMEND HIM MORE HIGHLY. I RECENTLY MOVED FROM MINNESOTA TO WASHINGTON STATE AND MATTY IS STILL THE ONLY STYLIST I LET CUT AND COLOR MY HAIR - 1600 MILES IS A LONG WAY TO GO FOR A HAIRCUT, BUT IT IS ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! :)
