I always show off the Bayside Grille. I've been a fan for years, it is my favorite spot in the Twin Cities and I always take friends and family there when they visit from out of town. I moved to another part of the metro about a year ago so I hadn't been in a while but made the hour drive Wednesday and it was just as awesome as it always had been. GREAT food, reasonable prices, and great patio over the lake. Enjoy!

Best food on the Lake. We have been going here for years, and we love this restaurant. The menu by far surpasses Maynard's and Fletcher's. It's a smaller patio and sometimes the food service is on the slow side, but watching the sunset over the lake makes it well worth it! Also not overpriced as expected on Lake Minnetonka.

Best Outdoor Patio, Food, Service & Music on Lake Minnetonka. Bayside has the best food on the lake period. Their menu is broad and isn't your average deck food like the others on the lake. Service is always good and the atmosphere is beautiful and they have the best sunsets. The outside bars are a blast. We love the sailboat bar! Coolest thing ever. They have an awesome breakfast every weekend and our kids love the smiley waffles! Bayside is one of those places that you can go to enjoy a good meal and they also have the best night life with live music. Very cool place to go by car or by boat.

Awful.....as always. I have been at Bayside a couple of times.....for the sake of fairness.....Sometimes different cooks...different servers...etc, make all the difference....Sadly, not in this case. Bad service, bad food, left a bad taste in my mouth.

Do yourself a favor, go next door to Maynards....Great atmosphere, food and service....Stay away from Bayside!!

Awesome place for a drink on the lake, skip the food. It's not a secret, everyone loves this place for a drink on the lake and the people watching and boat watching. Just don't eat here. It's not horrible, but it's not great when there are so many other places right near by. Service is average at best. After many visits as a secret critic always does, I have to say the bad service was consistently poor each time. They have live music on the weekends which is nice, and they have great sunsets to watch from your outdoor table. Burgers aren't bad. Pizza's aren't great. Skip the wraps. Enjoy the view!
