Don't bother. The place is a disaster.......Seasoned servers.....yet horrid service.....Customers waited 50 plus minutes for orders. One table next to us spent 3 hours...30 minutes tell management what a disaster it was....My steak came and although tastey it was a piece of shoe leather..a chain saw was needed....at the price of a meal you should never have this kind of meal nor service.

They will be closed shortyly so don;t bother trying it on your own.... stay away

I love this place!. I eat here often and the food is always good. The tar tar cones are fantastic and so are the filet bites. The Asiago Walleye and the Kobe Short Ribs are their signature dishes and they won't let you down. You have to try this place.

Must Try This Place. Good food and nice atmosphere. The patio is definetly the place to be at, everyone comes here in summer. The asiago walleye is a favorite of mine.

Good food, great patio!. I ordered the Chipotle Lime Salmon and it was very good. This is my favorite restaurant! We often have work parties here upstairs on the deck because the view is amazing. Filet bites are tasty too.

Total disappointment, never to return. Complete and utter disastisfaction. I'm pretty easy on restaurants, and it takes a lot to disappoint me. But when I'm spending $70 per person and I'm in what is designed to feel like an upscale restaurant, I expect decent food. Not so here. Ordered Manhatten clam chowder, absolutely horrible, poor quality. Same consistency and flavor of Campbell's out of a can, and incredibly salty - and I generally like my food on the salty side, so I knew something was very wrong. My tablemate ordered a stuffed lobster tail. They put the lobster, crab, and sole in a thick cream sauce, which broke the flavor of the fish, and again with an absolutely outrageous amount of salt. Completely ruined the $50 dish. Sad excuse for a chef. Service was decent, but server really didn't care about our challenges with our food. And the old "espresso machine is on the fritz" (I hate that line) topped it off. Below average quality, and overpriced, will never go back again. Pity, I live 5 minutes away.

Nastiest Meal in almost Forever. The good news is you can't mess-up vodka. The bad news is that if you are going to call coconut shrimp, coconut shrimp, then ensure it isn't cake batter clump with shrimp.

Second, kobe beef shouldn't be unkept to put it nicely. I am expecting to be sick later.

All in all, I am so sad that I came in town for the weekend and took my parents here. Applebee's would have been more worth the $13 crab cake and $11 spoiled meat.

I will be nice to say that the staff was pleasant but unknowing. And the view of a sailboat regatta can't be beat. Only go here for drinks and if you are going to have the lobster dip.

Nice menu. I've been here a few times now and I like the place. They have a few menu items we felt were unique. Really nice location too. I recommend you try it out.

If youre on the lake looking to eat dinner... go here. The other lake joints are just bar food.

Long term... you get the feeling they won't be around. This location has had many different restaurants starting with Sashas in the 80's. When we eat there, there arent many people around. If Northcoast can't make it work here, it should be converted back to a boat garage. But I'm sure they will be another restaurateur who thinks he has the answer and will sink a boat-load of cash into what he will probably call "Starboard's" or "Buoys."

Sunday Brunch. The Champaigne Brunch was outstanding. Beautiful atmosphere on a warm sunny day. Schrimp, salmon, fresh strawberries, crepes and the rest of the usual suspects for a breakfeast buffet. Charming entertainment to watch the boater's summer play. Delightful.

Trying to be something it is not.... The restaurant was empty on a Saturday night. After our meals arrived, we realized why. The salads were soaked in dressing, the appetizers (pasta nachos and brie) were oversalted, the vegetables on the entrees lacked flavor and were overcooked, and the portions were very small. Friendly service but a very arrogant manager when we had a small problem with the bill. In his mind, this overpriced "coastal" dining experience is on par with Palaminos or Oceanaire. He let us know that he would take care of the server error "this time," implying that we would come back. When you are rude to your guests, don't count on there being a "next time." THERE IS A REASON THIS RESTAURANT IS EMPTY ON SATURDAY NIGHTS! Better luck to the next management team, as the location is excellent and a well-managed restaurant could thrive here.

Best Meal in the Twin Cities. I made reservations in the middle of winter thinking that this place would be dead, but it was a very lively environment my friends and I walked in to. The lights were a little dark, but they would be perfect for a romantic evening out.

Upon our waiter's recommendation we tried the tasting menu. I couldn't believe all of these amazing courses came for only $30. Its five courses - each one was better than the last. I am not an adventurous diner, so I probably wouldn't have ordered the duck confit, or other courses in the menu, but they were all amazing. Our waiter knew his stuff too. Each course was presented knowledgably and the chef came out for the last course - a chocolate bread pudding that was like heaven. Our waiter told us that the menu changes weekly. I want to go back next week!
