Great honest staff and service!. I can’t say enough great things about Shakopee Goodyear! I went there after receiving a $1,700 estimate from my dealership, that included two new tires as they said mine were at a dangerous level. I had owned my car and not needed to do any maintenance on it for about 2 years, so I understood it was time, but thought that seemed high.

My Dad recommended the place as he and co-workers go there and he trusts the guys. We dropped my car off, explained the situation and went to lunch. When we got back from lunch, Nick took us out to my car and showed me some of the things the dealership mentioned.

He said I didn’t need new tires until Winter 2012, if not Spring 2013 and they just needed to be rotated. Then, their estimate came in about $600 less expensive than the dealership for all the same services!

I not only felt like I was being treated with respect, but I trusted their opinions and appreciated their honesty. I never felt pressured to make any decision. I was able to complete all the maintenance that day, but they assisted in prioritizing what needed to be done first, if I needed to spread the costs out over a few months.

It’s a bit of a hike from work, but I will go back there for everything they offer now.

STAY AWAY FROM SHAKOPEE GOODYEAR. I just brought my car in for an oil change at Shakopee Goodyear. Upon receiving my bill, I noticed that there was an extra surcharge of $3.00 for extra oil. I have gotten many oil changes from various vendors and this is the first time that I've been asked to pay extra for oil. The serviceperson gave me know advance notice of this additional charge. I'm very upset and feel "ripped off." I will never bring my car to Shakopee Goodyear for service ever again. STAY AWAY! .
