Unlike others, I base my review on actual facts!. As passionate as the review from Tbaker3811 was, it was also a whole lottta stupid wrapped in a crispy shell of ignorance. Tbaker381, go grind your axe elsewhere.

And for the review...

If you can make it to Jensen's Cafe for their prime rib, RUN - do not walk to get it! This is in one word simply AWESOME! Great cut of meat, fair prices.

Decor, meh.... Upscale Denny's feel, meh.... Prime rib, MORE THAN COMPENSATES!

AVOID. The owner hates public employees! In regards to a recent star tribune article he doesn't care about the sacrifices public employees make and wants them to make sacrifices when the food service industry is slumping. Does Mr. Jensen pay extra Taxes to support public employees when his business is booming? I doubt it. Just avoid this place like myself and support our public servants who selflessly put their lives on the line to protect you and your families.

Waffles divine. I have been here a couple of times for breakfast, everything always being wonderful! Recently I went there and had the waffles with the strawberries and homemade whipped cream on top and was I delighted! The whipped cream was fantastic! Never had anything like it before. I would highly recommend it! Service was great and food is great! This place can get packed though, so if you are going on a Sunday morning, go before the church crowd lets out!

Long Wait for Waitress. My husband and I went to Jensens Cafe n a Friday around 12:30pm. We both enjoyed the atmosphere, but that's where it stopped. Our server too way too long to some back after giving us more time to order, and when she came back, she was slightly abrupt and rude. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger which was not impressive at all for the price. My husband ordered an omlete with country potatoes, which he states was good. Our lunch total (without alcohol) was over $27.00. I think that this place is way over priced for the service you get and the quality of the food. It's a burger, and I'm not in Paris, spare me the half cooked meat and obvious frozen patty, please.
