Wonderful scratch Italian, charming location and ambiance. Love the new cedar rooftop with all the flowers! A must try.

Think twice before eating here.. Don't try brunch again until you've completed your renovations and improved your cooking standards. The food was crammed into a space that was too small to accommodate the number of patrons at the restaurant. Gnats were on the fruit, the bacon was not adequately cooked - it looked more boiled than fried - and the corned beef was stringy. The spinach frittata chafing dish was empty for nearly 30 minutes and when it finally arrived, it was bland. Anyone who says the Easter Buffet was "very good" has never been to a really good restaurant. Try La Belle Vie, 112 Eatery, W. A. Frost, Bar La Grassa or Restaurant Alma and then you'll know what good food really is. This was our first time at the restaurant and maybe ordering off the menu results in a better dining experience, but we found the buffet over-priced and under-whelming.

So excited we finally made it here.... My husband and I had one of the best experiences we have EVER had at Amore Victoria. We have been meaning to have dinner here for months as we have heard such great things from friends. Upon entering, we were graciously greeted and seated at a comfy, velvety corner booth for two. The pan-seared (home, made) gnocchi was to die for and the entrees spectacular! The home made bread was enough to make me come running back. We have been to many Italian restaurants both here and in other cities, and I have to say, this one ranks up there with the best, if not THE best. The ambiance is very authentic and I love the rustic brick walls, as well as all the fun colored candles flickering everywhere...Needless to say, we can't wait to come back!

Wonderful for events!. The food is incredibly delicious, large portions, great wine list. The staff was wonderful. We held our daughter's wedding reception in the wine cellar room and it was a great evening. The tiramisu instead of wedding cake was a stroke of genius!

Bland Food, Great Location. I've tried this spot several times out of convenience, but this place consistently disappoints. The size of their menu might be the downfall - instead of a manageable amount of fantastic entrees, they have endless bland ones lacking freshness.

I live in the neighborhood, so I've really wanted to love this place. In the future, however, I'm doing the drive to Broder's when I'm in the mood for Italian.

Ruined by the bartender. We like to go to Amore Victoria once in awhile for dinner. On Friday night, we decided to just have cocktails at the bar. The bartender was curt, made lousy drinks, and the tense, chaotic atmosphere made it uncomfortable to enjoy a cocktail. He yelled at the bushelp in Spanish, and was mean to the waitstaff ordering drinks. Completely ruined the experience! PLEASE fix this, we love the place!

Impressive. One look at the massive menu and you'll be impressed with the options and prices. I came here for my birthday dinner and it was truly a wonderful finish to an already lovely day. Our waiter was Jonathan and he was personable, helpful (I can never choose what wine to drink and he suggested a tasty Malbec), and very informational. I had the chicken parmigiana - tender, moist chicken with a light breading on a bed of pasta with a not-too-sweet red sauce topped w/ the perfect amount of freshly grated Parmesan. The bread they passed around was fresh with an lightly crisped outside and soft, warm inside - I'm not usually a bread eater before dinner, but I couldn't resist with this one! And to top it all off, the price was quite reasonable. With all your options and price ranges here, you can't lose. I hope to do some more exploring on their massive wine menu next time.

Really good Italian food. Found it by accident walking around shopping. The aroma lured us in and we were happy it did. Very homey feeling. Great service and good wine list but most importantly the veal marsala( not on the menu) was nothing short of REAL ITALY. My favorite Italian food is veal marsala. After having it all over Florence, Rome and Venice I am spoiled and cannot find the same in the states but I did here. Why am I in Houston and this place in Minneapolis?

Best service you will ever receive!. We had the best experience the first time we went to Amore Victoria. An art fair was in session and we were having difficulty finding a parking spot. The owner offered to take our keys and park our car for us when a spot opened up. He actually took his own car out of the parking lot and parked our car right by the door and brought us our keys at the table! I have never received this kind of customer service anywhere! Not only was the customer service great but also the waitstaff was very educated on the wine list and menu. The food was outstanding. We were in love with everthing we ordered and was still craving it an hour after we left. If you are planning a trip to Minneapolis, you need to stop and eat at Amore Victoria, the atmosphere itself will make it worth it.

Disappointing Service in Uptown. I've had spectacular food and service here so recommended it for my "ladies monthly brunch". I was very disappointed!!! My food, chorizo huevos, was cold, the potatos overly salted, the chorizo bland. I chalked it up to the large group and maybe it was not timed well as one ordered a calzone.

The most disappointing thing was the service. We all had empty waters and were not asked for refills......one lady asked for cream for her coffee no less than three times before finally getting it. Her coffee was cold by then.

I will return and give it another shot. I hope they can correct this issue.
