Inconsistent, sexist dress code.
Waited in line with my girl for an hour, which is fine except I come here so I don't have to wait in line like at Aqua. So I wait for an hour, with bouncers walking right past me without saying a word. I'm wearing a white low cut tank top, skinny jeans, and some hot high tops that are gold with small cut outs, teal, and black with black laces (I'm there to dance).
Anyway, after waiting in the cold for an hour, the VERY LAST bouncer says I can't wear tennis shoes. This is as I see a a dude with forces walk in. I'm like, what the f*** I've been waiting for a f***ing hour. He says it's the rules. I mention how the dude before me has 'em on. He says, "Ladies can't wear tennis shoes." I flip my s***, but my friend pulls me away.
Are we really gonna be sexist? I come to Cream so I can dance the night away and wear tennis shoes (which I was told I could do when I went to Spin) - waiting for an HOUR - and I get some bulls*** like that. I will never come here again - the club that I thought was down to earth and street with good beats is becoming booji and disappointing.
