Avoid Like The Plague. Ate at Tejaban on Monday 17 January. The food was mediocre. The waiter screwed up the drink orders giving my friends virgin margaritas, then tried to pass them off as real. The worst part is the final bill came to $35.47. Because of the poor service, I only gave a $3.00 tip. However, when I looked at my bank records, they simply added another $5.00. Bad service, bad food, AND they STOLE money from me. Incompetence I can live with. Dishonesty is unforgivable.

Best kept secret.. Great authentic mexican food. Friendly and personable Owner and staff. A definate keeper!

Best authentic mexican food!. Taco Morelos is our favorite authentic Mexican restaurant in the Twin Cities (by far). Consistently good quality food - the enchiladas feature your choice of authentic sauce (green, red, or mole), or get the 'Three amigos' and try them all. The combination plate with a tamale, chili relleno, and enchilada is another excellent choice. There are many family style dishes to try as well. Service is always courteous and helpful - you always have some chips and salsa within minutes of sitting down when you arrive. I have brought numerous co-workers here for lunches and they are always impressed with the food. It's also a fun place to go with a group of friends or family - maybe call to make sure they have one of the large tables ready for you. In all this, is a great place to get authentic Mexican food (they have never let us down, never a bad meal or experience)
