Response to "Dont Never Buy a Car FromThis Place". Ms. Watkins purchased a 2000 Monte Carlo with 164k miles. A search on cars and carsoup shows our price to be one of the lowest within 50 miles. We have sold 2,351 vehicles since opening in January 2005. It is certainly never our intent to sell any vehicle with known mechanical problems. Ms. Watkins transmission did in fact fail 2 weeks after purchasing the vehicle. The vehicle was sold with a 2yr 24,000 mile warranty that did cover the transmission. The warranty company had not received the contract at that time and there was a period of wait to submit a claim. As for the credit card dispute Ms. Watkins did not have a credit card to Start her insurance policy. The charge was put on our company credit card and we were billed for a 6 month premium. We disputed the charge as we had only received the 1 month start up fee from Ms. Watkins.

Dont Never Buy a Car FromThis Place. BAD BAD BAD, 1st PROBLEM thing was that they don’t care if the car is good they just want to make a sale. They say they inspect every vehicle that come into their lot, WRONG I purchased a 2000 Monte Carlo with transmission problems that they knew about. I took the car back to them 1 week after I purchased it and told them that something was wrong and that the car was shacking. They gave me the run around like we had to wait for the extended warranty paper work to finalize, then they said the extended warranty don’t like to see so many problems up front on a vehicle that contract was not even 30 days old yet because by then I had took it to Precision and paid 100. For a full diagnosis which had 1,700 worth of problems not including the transmission codes. I was not mad at the 1,700 worth of problem because of the year of the car but I’m mad that the transmission have problem and they tried to cover it up. 2ND PROBLEM my insurance company called me and told me that Midwest was going to dispute the payment they made for me on their credit card, because at the time I only had cash so I gave Midwest cash and they made a payment to the insurance company. 3RD PROMBLEM WAS THEY OVER CHARGED 4,999 FOR A 2000 CHEVEY MONTE CARLO WITH 164,000 MILES

misrepresented.. They don't have inventory that they advertise. They try to bully potential buyers. They attempt to have you credit checked before you see a single car. They hold you inside while they "look " for cars that don't exist. Amazingly poor service. I'm astonished that this place stays in business. Really unpleasant greeting area, can't imagine it has ever been cleaned. Buyer beware stay clear of this place at all cost!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!. Thank you Midwest Car Search!! I recently purchased a 2000 Dodge Durango. Going to Midwest Car Search was awesome. I got a good deal, a great vehicle, and they were good to me and my two small children. The sales staff helped me find the vehicle that suited my needs. Scott was particularly helpful – but the entire team was phenomenal. I would recommend this place to anyone and next time I need a car, this will be my first stop! It’s good to find honest people in the car business.

Response to "Misrepresented". First I want to apologize for your inconvienence and for any mistreatment you felt. We want all our customers to be treated well and never want a customer to feel bullied. We often sell the cars we advertise in the newspaper prior to being able to change the ad since we run ads for a week at a time to get the best advertising rates. Additionally it could happen that one salesman would have sold a car and another might be looking for the same car, not knowing it was sold earlier.

As far as credit checks go, we have actually found it helpful to many credit challenged customers to get the financing approval prior to looking at cars.

Lastly I don't quite understand the comment about our waiting area. We have an employee spot clean the waiting area daily and do a deep clean every Monday. Maybe you were confusing us on that point with another dealership you visited.

Again I am very sorry you had a bad experience here!
