Elizabeth Wargo is an unethical swindler. I found Elizabeth Wargo at a bridal expo at the Mpls Convention Center...little did I know that they clearly do no follow-up to the legitamacy of the businesses that have booths there. We (fortunately) received our proofs but nothing to follow, even though she was paid in-full (including our album) prior to our June 2006 wedding. She even had the nerve to come to our home, drink wine, eat food, and look me in the eye and pretend that she was going to create our album. Instead, she dropped off the planet and was never to return a call again. We found her setting up another business in a different name (she got married) in Australia...Beth Van hulst...who do you think did her wedding photos!?! My guess is that she got her pictures!

DON'T DO IT!!!!!. I had a very similar experience with Elizabeth Wargo photography. She came highly recommended, but only because the brides had not tried to get anything but the proofs from her when they made the recommendation (they too had major problems later).

The most frustrating part of my story is that not only did I not get the book, but my digital media (which is part of the reason we chose to have her do our wedding) was no where near what was promised. There was a mix of photo formats, not all were retouched, not all proofs were included, and many had very low resolution ( like 4" x 6"). To top that off you can't get a hold of ANYONE who can fix it. So, now I can't order any pictures that I want, I can't print a lot of the pictures that I want, and I have 3"x3" proofs to go with.

I have taken MANY photography classes, have even taught Photoshop to others, and could not fix these images. Consequently, I would run like heck from this booth at any wedding fair (which, by the way, our wedding image, that was not included on our CD, is blown up all over).

Unreliable - Horrible customer service. Be very careful if you choose to hire her for your wedding - especially if you would like to have an album to chronicle such an important day. Almost 5 years now since my wedding day and no album, etc yet. In fact, she does not return emails or phone calls.

You would think that the Twin City Bridal Association would have higher standards for ethics and integrity for their members.

Luckily I have the proof book, but not the beautiful album I had anticipated when we met with her and talked about what we wanted. Over the course of 2 years after the wedding, she made numerous promises via personal meetings, phone calls and emails that our album was almost complete. Then the communication ceased.

Very sad. I hope this doesn't happen to other couples.
