So Bossy. Unreal service, food, people, and did I say food because I'll say it again. If you haven't had Patty cake yet then be sure to put that on your bucket list. We always get Patty cake for birthdays and special occasions. It's also a great place to get lunch or dinner, and although I've heard their breakfast is good, I haven't tried that. Kimmer's review below me resonated with me and I'd have to say she's pinned the tail on the donkey with that one.

The name says it.. My co-workers and I eat here almost every week. We joke that not liking Yum! is a dealbreaker for any new hires. Yum! is hands down the best lunch spot around. Everything on the menu is good. The steak sandwich is juicy amazing-ness. All the salads are delicious with their homemade dressings. The Fancy Schmancy tuna melt never disappoints. I could go on and on. Their cupcakes are famous, and I'm a huge fan of the coconut cake. And when it comes to the baked goods, the adorable blue and red to-go box is almooost as delightful as the treat inside. From the excellent food to the whimsical decor, Yum! is a Minneapolis treasure.

Poor service, bad food, don't even bother. My first visit there this past Sunday we stood in the coffee line not knowing that you need to order food at a different counter even though the breakfast sandwich we ordered was on the menu at the coffee counter. It took several minutes for 3 employees to recognize us as patrons and ask us what we wanted. They were busy socializing with each other. They wouldn't serve us a breakfast sandwich at 11:10 a.m. because they stop serving breakfast at 11:00. We ordered a grilled cheese-it was small for two, cheese wasn't melted and the potato chips were tasteless. Poor service, crappy food. There's riches to be made in this economy for good food and great service, which seems to be lacking all over. I'll never go back to Yum.

The Gumbo is hot, spicy & amazing.. I have not had the PotRoast & mashed, but friends say that is wonderful also. They do not hurry at YUM, kinda slow actually, but really worth it for the most part. You can call ahead, if you want to go. The staff is very nice.
