So Unhappy With My Experience!. I saw Jen for a cut and color and it was so bad I refused to go back to get it redone.

I have curly hair and it was hacked into so bad I had stringy ends and the shape was off. I wanted highlights and the process took a really long time and they were brassy and super blended. It was just an experience i will not forget, but not in a good way.......very disappointed

great salon with cute decor!. i just saw jen for a haircut and it was amazing! she totally understood what i was looking for even though i couldn't describe, and i forgot pictures! she was very descriptive when explaining what would work and wouldnt work for my hair. she also didnt make "that face" when i confessed to daily washings and and just letting my hair air dry! she did however reccomend a gentler shampoo and one simple product to tame fuzzies, which i was totally ok with:)

jen made a momma to be feel great!. i'm due any day now,i felt bloated, sluggish, frumpy, puffy faces-you name it, i was just having such a terrible week. my sister suggested i get my hair done before the baby comes, so "i wouldn't have to deal with it after the baby", yeah sure, i hadn't even dealt with it during the last 9 months! i went to maude at my sisters request, and i am really glad i did. i saw jen for a cut and color and it was the best time i had ever had getting my hair done! she actually listened to me wanting something low maintinence and that would grow out with ease, but also keep a little funkiness in this preggos hair. i got a great cut that really lets my loose wave look great air dried and my color is amazing. she wasn't in my face with products, and let me just chill out and read gossip mags while my color cooked! i can't reccomend jen enough!

great curly hair!. i just followed my regular stylist jen (used to be at moxie uptown) to maude and it's the CUTEST salon i've ever seen! everything is so warm and homey. jen also gives the best highlights i've ever had, when you say "blended" she doesnt give you tiny little streaks that still stick out, she actually gives blended, natural looking color that had tons of shine that lasts me 10 weeks before it even starts to look grown out. i have naturally thick wavy/curly hair and jen cuts it so that i can wear it both curly and straight. she cuts my hair dry wich i do believe helps with the "shrinkage" that even us wavy/curly types can experience and i never have to deal with xmas tree layers either!

Best salon. I moved to Minneapolis last year and have tried numerous salons. My friend recommended Maude and I am home! Such a cool environment, not intimidating, cozy, stylish, warm. I asked my stylist for suggestions and she was game. I never thought I could wear red, but I absolutely love it. She said if it was the right shade it would bring out my blue eyes. I am excited to push the envelope a little more in the fuure!

My extensions rock!. My thin hair is finally the hair I've always wanted! I got human hair extensions from Stefanie and they are so beautiful and natural....she's awesome!!!
