In Short
Anyone who has ever dreamed of bunking at the MoMA checks into this intimate luxury hotel. Design die-hards go gaga for the 60 sleek rooms equipped with custom-designed mattresses, plasma TVs and heated bathroom floors, while contemporary art buffs spend their stay admiring the over 200 original modern art pieces adorning the hallways, rooms and main gallery. The open-air courtyard and rooftop bar provide a posh place to plop down and take it all in.

Insider Tips
The ExtrasRoom service from the Chambers Kitchen--based on uber-chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten's menu--is available 24 hours a day. Don't feel like holing up in your room? Ask room service to deliver your gourmet grub to you anywhere in the hotel.
Know Before You GoFor the ultimate party digs, ask for room 512 (aka: the Rock Star suite). It has a wraparound balcony providing views of the Orpheum and the downtown skyline, plus an ultramodern lounge area for entertaining.

Here we go again... Another one down , how many more to go? Its seems that Chambers' "Pizaz" is to "burn" (ett) people out of their wits. This self absorbed establishment has lost all its charm. In the city its the worst talked about in regards to employement and work ethics. Who knows maybe the crazy hair lady was the mother root of all this mishaps. Maybe they will realize that more valuable than the chaotic art, is the staff who puts forward the show. Who knows... That place has too many issues and a very bad ora. Stay elsewhere.
Pros: Lots of pimps
Cons: Tacky , new money, no class

I actually really like the hotel. The staff was super nice when I stayed there, the front desk staff explained all the artwork to me and the oustide lounge area is really fantastic. I love non americana hotels....the hotels that are overdone and over decorated. This hotel is clean simple and sleek. Though i do think it is a hair overpriced.
