Founded in 1985 at the University of Pennsylvania, S&B originally carried licensed college apparel, boasting lower prices than the university bookstore. After expanding to campuses across the Midwest, the first mall-based store opened in 1988, offering varsity jackets, T-shirts and embroidered sweatshirts with logos from colleges and universities across the country. Today, in addition to the signature collegiate gear, the apparel line includes graphic tees with pop-culture phrases, jeans, cargos, button-down shirts, polos and more.
