I have so many great things to say about this salon, I don't know where to begin.

From the moment you make the initial phone call to this salon to the moment you walk out of this salon you KNOW you are at the best salon in town.

They are professional, educated, caring, dedicated, and want their clients to have the best experience they have ever had.

My stylist listened to me and worked with me from start to finish and made sure we were on the same page and I was happy.

I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for an "out of the box" experience that they will come back for more and won't forget.

Thank you to the Jon Charles staff for creating an atmosphere that is like no other!

Best Hair Extensions!!!

I have been getting my extensions done for five years in downtown Chicago right on Oak St. I recently moved to MN and went to Craig at the Jon Charels Salon in Uptown and I'm blown away! This is the Bentley of hair extensions for sure! The hair is the most beautiful ive ever used. I have tried 5 or 6 different brands, and been to salons all over LA and Chicago. I went to the woman in LA who did all the hair extensions for the Pirates of the Caribean movie and she cant even compare. He is so fast and his work is so clean, this is the best i've ever looked! He breaks the bonds down so tiny it is completely natural looking and feels so light. Anywhere Craig goes i will be following him!! Love you Craig!!!

Great hair - none of the attitude!

Great salon - I highly recommend Jaime for cuts & Susan for color (she is great for blondes). A non-intimidating salon that I recommend to all my friends. Tell them I sent you!

Quality Service, Friendly Staff

I have been in seeing Sarah for color in the Mpls location for about 8 months. She is very experienced, listens and always helps select color that is flattering. My color grows out so gracefully. She is also very down to earth and friendly as are all of the staff, I always feel so comfortable there.

I just tried Chloe, a newer stylist, for a cut and I am SO GLAD I did. She may be new, but cuts like an old pro. I have tried a couple of different stylists at JC and while I always leave looking nice, there was something extra special about Chloe's cut. Se really listened and "got" what it is I was looking for. Run over there while she is still at the introductory level, she is sure to move up soon. The only drawback for me is that she is only in Mpls on Sunday, but I am willing to work around that for a great haircut.

I did stray once to Tres Jolie Salon, because of the great reviews. I found that it didn't live up to the hype. Jon English does live up to the hype, but feels like home.

Worth visiting

I went to the uptown location and immediately felt at home. My colorist Sara is AMAZING and will serve you well - she also is a pro with highly textured hair (relaxers, etc.). She does great finishes too! Steven is also wonderful as is Amy who has done my teen age daughter's hair. No matter the age the salon is great! Worth taking time out of your day to visit. I have been known to be there 3 days in a row for various services. That says something as my time is precious to me.
