i'd marry this salon if uncle sam would let me.. As a long-time Foiled Again client, I have to say I've been nothing short of satisfied with the level of service and professionalism I've received. When I bring in a photo or an idea for a new, probably challenging new color treatment, Michele never balks and is always excited to make drastic, if time-consuming, changes. I've had special occasion 'dos done by both Michele and Shannon, with traffic-stopping results, and cuts and colors from Jessica and Michele always turn out fabulous.

The Foiled Again ladies are always pleasant and welcoming. I am consistently being greeted at the door, offered a beverage, and never feel unappreciated or unwelcome, even when the salon is at peak business. The talented stylists are not only great at doing hair, but they have what makes a good stylist a WONDERFUL one - creativity and listening skills.

After years of searching for a great stylist and always leaving unsatisfied, I am so happy to say that I've finally found an entire salon of friendly, fun, talented stylists. I'll put my hairs in their hands anytime.

Not Happy! Beware Curly Haired Girls!. I went to Foiled Again for the first time this past August. I have naturally curly hair that I often wear a bit straighter or wavier because it is prone to frizz. I explained all of this to Teri when I saw her for my cut, and as nice as she was, she RAZOR-CUT my hair! Anyone with curly hair knows this is the kiss of death, especially if you are prone to frizz. Ugh. I have little fly-aways everywhere. I will not go back. For color, I saw Michele, and I wasn't impressed with the results. The area near my scalp was darker than the rest (I do an all-over color) and I didn't feel that the color was rich and shiny like it has been in the past (at other salons). My hair stylist moved to another state, so I thought I would try Foiled Again, but I will not go back, and I would not recommend it- especially for the price. It's not cheap, which I am okay with if I get a good cut and color. Also- no scalp massage, no receptionist, and other little details make me wonder why I paid $106.00 for this experience.

Love this place!. I always drove past this salon and when my stylist moved out of town I decided to try it. So glad I did! It is professional but really casual and friendly. I liked watching all the stylists. They did great work. I saw Jennifer for a cut and foil and liked her a lot. I'll definitely be back.

great cut. Was recommended to go to this place and was so happy to find it! It is near my office and I was able to get a day of appointment. Very happy with the results and price. Will be back!

they make everything better. As a guy a hair appointment is the last thing I want to make. That is until I talk to Thea from "Foiled Again" she makes me feel comfortable, listens to what I have to say and gives me the best haircut I have ever had. The staff always says hello and are happy to offer a beverage of my choice, beer included. You gotta get your haircut - you might as well get it done by the best. I enjoy visiting this neighborhood salon and have recommended it to many friends and coworkers. I recommend it to you as well.

Hair color geniuses. I have to say that I have never received a color service from Foiled Again that I didn't love love love!!!! I think each time I like it even better than the last. I always feel good and welcome when I arrive (sometimes even late) to my appointment and I feel even better when I leave looking great!! The independent stylists all seem very competent and professional. The local artwork hung on the walls is a nice touch.

Don't Even Bother. I will not name the stylist I saw but have gone to this salon for almost one year and today was the

last straw. All of the people in this shop seem really nice so although it's nothing personal, I have

to say it's a terribly unprofessional and unsanitary atmosphere. I wanted to keep trying to give

my business to this local shop but #1 My hair was always mediocre at best and the highlights were

ALWAYS way too ash toned #2 The stylists act like they're having a slumber party and only certain

clients are invited, let's grow up #3 The hygiene could stand some improvement to say the least!

There are quite a few salons in our area, I can't imagine one of them won't be better than this.

The icing on the cake is that you can never get anyone to answer the phone when calling to make an

appointment which would be fine if someone would return my call within 24 hours, but no, usually

I had to just keep calling and calling and calling........put it this way, I have deleted Foiled Again out

of my cell phone. Foiled For the Last Time more like it. Good luck ladies!

Best style and Color in town!. I am in love with this salon!! The price is perfect and the Cut and color is the best I have had in a very long time!! Could the women there be just a little nicer??? I don't think so!! What a wondrerful group. Thanks to city search I am now committed to the best Salon I have been to ever!

Thank you Michele and Shannon, you have knocked 10 years off my age with this amazing style and color!!

cool neighborhood salon. These gals are great. I had a beer and the best haircut I've had in a long time. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere.

WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE METRO. Whenever possible I prefer to support independent businesses over chains - so decided to give Foiled Again a try as I really would like to see the Johnson Street neighborhood succeed and thrive. The Salon is basically one open room - the waiting area is a sofa. This sofa faces into the Salon. The workstations are on each side of the room and the shampoo sinks face the sofa. It is virtually impossible for the stylists not to notice every other person in the salon. I arrived approx. 5 min. before my appt. - the four stylists were each with a customer so I took a seat. Not one of the stylists acknowleged my presence. However, I (incorrectly) presumed someone would do so within a few minutes - and I certainly presumed that my stylist would take 10 seconds to stop over to tell me she was running late (I have no problem with someone telling me they are running behind). 10 minutes went by - then 15 - then 20 - then 25 - and still not one acknowledgment - although they had all looked my way and most made eye contact. Well, after 25 minutes of being rudely ignored I walked out the door. Five minutes later my stylist called my cell phone with the most lame excuses (some of which were outright lies - e.g., no one saw me sitting there!!!). She then proceeded to tell me that they recently had a staff meeting to discuss this very issue and even rearranged the Salon stations in order to provide better customer service!!! (So she admitted that they needed to have a meeting & rearrange the Salon because of previous customer service issues - yet their customer service issues continue - either no one showed up for the meeting or those who did obviously weren't paying attention - and she is as guilty as the rest of the staff!!) For the sake of the Salon and the neighborhood I hope they get their act together - and soon. However, this is one person who won't return.
