Not a good value and MISLEADING.. I wanted to try out a gym closer to my work. I tried the free trial at North Loop Fitness and decided to give it a try even though the facility is completely average in every way. I use gyms in hotels across the country on work travel with more modern amenities. On the initial tour, I asked about the cancellation policy and Rob, the owner said "It's no big deal, just a 30 day notice". Ok, well I guess it IS a big deal because I gave 30 days notice and I am now being charged for almost two months and a cancellation fee of $50 (which Rob failed to mention at initial tour/ask). I find this very misleading and unprofessional. I tried to resolve this and only received nonsensical feedback via email asking if I thought "North Loop Fitness needed my $50 so bad". I guess it does, since they are not willing to own up to being misleading. I am very disappointed and will happily take my membership back to the ethical Y where they have always treated me with respect and used transparency in their billing via person or legal contract. Also, an individual membership is $59/month. The Y is under that and offers way more amenities (pool, sauna, classes) and more reasonable customer service. I tried North Loop for its location convenience and got burned. NOT recommended. Very disappointed.

Editorial Review. Warehouse District neighborhood gym offers weights, climbing ropes and cardio equipment, plus tanning rooms and high-end audio and video systems.
