In Short – Giant banana waffles. Sweet-potato French fries. Tempura-battered green beans. These aren't exactly the types of extras you'd find at a diner, but at the Longfellow Grill, unique dishes and local flair are the norm. Big, bubbly booths make this a perfect spot for families and large groups. And all-day breakfast fare means that everyone--including finicky pancake-loving kids--can find something to enjoy on the menu. A separate bar also makes for a great neighborhood meeting spot for happy hour or quick bites, like the gorgonzola fritters or pierogies. –
Great food Nasty waitress
by StanBrown
I attended a business dinner at the Grill and was horrified at the waitress. She felt she deserved a better tip and actually confronted one of the guests at the dinner! This caused a very embarrasing scene for all of us. Make sure you bring a hefty tip if you go there if you want to avoid an embarrasing confrontation. I felt her actions were very inappropriate and caused very uneasy feelings with our group.
- Cons: Really pushy waitress

Good service, nice place by the river. Just disappointed on the menu change. Wish you could bring back the Ahi Tuna.
Great service and Great food.

One of our favorite restaurants for husband and I. Sometimes there is a long wait, but the food is good - they use top notch ingredients, atmosphere is nice and the service is always great!
- Pros: Good food, great service and atmosphere.
- Cons: Wish there was better parking. It's always full.

Happy Hour:
This urban, always-hopping diner serves up a double happy hour. From 3:00pm to 6:00pm and again from 9:00pm till close all taps and well drinks are only $2. Martinis, including the delicious chocolate martini, are all half-off. Happy hour folks tend to lounge at the bar and enjoy the many libations while families and diners enjoy some of the specials at the large, glittery booths.
