I am aware of the quality of the clothing (POOR) which makes it as cheap as it is and aware of their strict return policy. I put on one of the shirts I purchased just 3 days after and realized there was a huge hole in it near the seam. I had unfortunately removed the tag before putting it on but still had the tag and receipt. I took it back expecting it would be immediately exchanged as I have never been to a store who had such a strict policy that they would not exchange an item that had been sold full price damaged. I was informed that even though it was one week later I could not return it as I had removed the tags and they would not be able to re-sell the item (nice to know they would be putting it back on the shelf if the tags were still on it even though it had a HUGE hole). They offered to have their alterations lady fix it which of course ended up not being possible as the shirt was rayon and would just keep fraying when stitched. They called to let me know I could come pick the shirt back up, what a joke, why would I want that piece of junk back? Surprising a local company can thrive with such poor customoer service.
Citysearch Editorial Review. This hip Uptown shop was all about cheap and cool long before H&M landed at the MOA. Chic tops. Tall boots. Spiky heels. Cozy cardigans. They all wait in perfect order at this open-space two-floor local chain dedicated to sexy, sleek and chic. There are rows of sexy blouses and skinny jeans. Capris and short skirts. And even office clothes that don’t make you feel like you’re going to work. Looking for some killer accessories that won’t bust the pocketbook? Jewelry here comes as cheap as five bucks. And downstairs, in shoe heaven, you can score strappy heels or killer clunky boots for under $20.
Great place. love love love heartbreaker! great deals.. confy shoes and the ppl were nice to me and my friends. very helpful for finding the right shoe to match my homecoming dress!
The WORST customer service I have ever received.
I have encountered the WORST customer service ever in this store recently. I bought a tanktop a week ago. I took the tag off right away because I had no intention of returning it, then realized that there were two holes along the side. I took it back and asked to exchange it, and I was treated horribly. I understand that there is a return policy (they won't exchange it without a tag) but they do not have to be so rude about it. I am a reasonable individual and I would totally understand if they had treated me nicely. I asked to talk to a manager and she was even worse. She said "my job is to ENFORCE THE POLICY". She never once apologized for the defective product and she told me that they don't sell anything defective and it was a customer's job to check it before purchasing. The first employee that I talked to told me that they'd fix it at that time, but the "manager" told me that it was not her priority. I don't live in uptown and I don't go there often, it was such an inconvenience for me to have to drive all over again to pick it up for later time. I was never offered any resolutions, just basically was snobbed. I told her I'd never shop there ever again and she gave me an attitude and said "that is just fine with me."
I have worked in the customer service before and this is just not a way to treat a customer. There are better ways to say no to their customers.
I will never shop there ever again. Yes, things are cheap, but there are plenty of other stores that sell cute clothes for reasonable price. If you must shop here, make sure that the products are not defective, because apparently the store make it up to the customers to do their quality control.
ugly customer service and ugly clothes. First of all, the service at this store stinks. Employees have a serious superiority complex. Otherwise the shoes are relatively cheap- good for those vulgar club outfits, but dont get too attached to anything you buy here because within a month of owning it it will be disintigrated, I promise. Under different ownership, with a buyer who knows anything about fashion (as there current one obviously does not) this store could be really successful.
