I had my eye brows trimmed when I was there and I must say, Jennifer is incredible. She is a bit pricey ($20) but the price is not unusual for this types of salon. She was very skillful and it didnt hurt at all. Very chatty and friendly and I felt comfortable immediately. Overall, very good service and i would go back to her again despite her high prices.
As for my haircut, I had high expectations. I had a stylist before coming to MN and he was very good and skillful and worth every cent I paid (he cost $100 + per cut). So i tend to be demanding when it comes to my stylist.
The stylist at Wave was only ok and I was disappointed with her skills. The haircut was over in a like 20 mins and I didnt think she did a good job. The hair hasnt grown out nicely and now that it's longer, it looks messy.
However, she was friendly and made me feel at home. Overall, it wasnt a bad cut (just not great) but still not a show-stopper. I'm going to give her a 2nd chance before I cross her off my list permanently.
The front desk service leaves much to be desired. The person who attended to me was unfriendly, rude and had a snobbish attitude.
