French fries are not crispy, even when you ask for them to be.
Still love the chicken.
Freshest Chicken Fingers Ever, Best Sweet Tea By Far, Texas Toast - Yum Yum!!!.
My mom and I stumbled on Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers by accident on a recent vacation to Las Vegas, NV. We really liked the freshness and flavor of the chicken. The fingers are done in a nice not to thick or thin coating. The texas toast was very tasty and you will want more then one piece. If you like iced tea you will love the southern "sweet tea". A good variety of beverages, including the sweet tea and homemade lemonade, are available. The menu is not extensive, but then you want chicken and that is what you will get. You can have chicken sandwiches or fingers, either alone or as a meal. There are good french fries and cole slaw included in the meals or as sides. You can order party size buckets of just "fingers" and sides too. In my opinion you get good value for your money.
We made a couple of trips back to Cane's while in Las Vegas because the food was so good. Now happily I find that we have a Cane's right here in Minnesota, located in Apple Valley. I can't wait to take my husband there for dinner since I have raved about Canes since the trip. Hope to see you there real soon!!
You will find the drive, no matter how far, worth your while!
Louisiana-based fast food chain brings its famous chicken fingers to the Midwest..
In Short
Cane's is all about chicken fingers ... just ask any LSU alum, as they're likely a longtime fan. Menu sides (and all chicken finger meal boxes) include crinkle-cut french fries, coleslaw and Texas toast. Devotees rave about the "secret recipe" dipping sauces, from original to honey mustard to suit a variety of tastes. Photos of the founder's beloved dog and restaurant namesake adorn the walls as red chairs and blue overstuffed booths allow for room to spread out in this open, cheery chain.
