A neighborhood-family-run bistro in South Minneapolis, Grand Cafe serves French-inspired brunch, lunch and dinner.. In Short
Decorated in gold, marbleized walls, tin ceilings and dark-wood accents, the quaint Grand Café is always warm and welcoming. White tablecloths drape the tables, and the cozy Craftsman-era room is always glowing with soft lights and flickering candlelight. Lunchtime diners enjoy the large windows that look out onto Grand Avenue as they eat hearty plates like the potato gnocchi and steak sandwich, which are never overbearing and heavy. Dinner diners get the works, like duck confit and beef short ribs. The family-run spot is also big on service, ensuring every visitor feels at home.

FANCIER THAN IT LOOKS FROM THE CURB. Small and charming with excellent, friendly service. GREAT ambiance. Everything was exceptionally delicious. Their menu changes regularly with a fairly small selection of specialties.... which are all amazing. I really look forward to going back.

So comfortable you don't want to leave!. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you have just walked into the kitchen of an old friend. The atmosphere is warm, inviting and romantic, the food superb and the service impeccable. My family and friends have visited several times without disappointment. Flying "under the radar" but not for long!
