GREAT Burgers, Live Music on Saturdays. I've been up here a lot this summer with friends and family and I have to say, the food has been excellent every time. Fantastic summer salad with fresh strawberries on top and really good dressing. LOVE the roasted tomato/goat cheese chicken burger and their new turker burger. My best friend had the firetruck burger (I think--it was a spicy one) and he said it was messy but good. Sweet potato jojos are delicious, even my father liked them and he normally despises sweet potato. I had one of the sandwiches once-I think with turkey and artichoke dip and that was really good too. I don't drink beer, but the wine I had was really good too. My parents and I were just up here last Saturday for Sing Along with Michael which was a great time. Live music on Saturdays definitely makes for a good atmosphere.

People have talked about parking being an issue, but I'm there on Friday/Saturday nights a lot of the time and haven't had to look for a space. And there's motorcycle parking, which eats up less of the lot.

I've gotten to know some of the regulars, as I suppose I'm becoming one, and there's a reason they come here: food, service and atmosphere. You can't beat it and I'm definitely going to continue eating here and bringing friends and family to Maverick's.

Awesome Neighborhood Joint!. We found this place while driving around our house (we're off 109th and Zane) and it's great! The patio has a tucked-away feeling and the bar staff is very friendly. We have a 2-year old and she loves the food there - and not just the mac and cheese, but buffalo quesadillas and bruchetta too!

The happy hour menu is awesome, you can easily make a meal from the choices and save some money on the trip (in this economy...) Try their house salad - good cheese and lite dressing, so much better than your typical cheddar, and giant hunk of tomato and cucumber.

The one draw back to bringing a child there, is the restroom has no changing table and the full-length mirrror next to the toilet is a little shocking if you're not ready for that view!

Try the martinis - REALLY good and strong. Nothing fruity or watered down, so you get your monies worth. We are also a fan of the "good" beers on tap, along with the local lite fare.

Could you possibly get a better burger?. Been to Maverick's several times now since they (re)opened. The food is pretty consistently good, but I honestly don't know how you could make a better burger. I consider myself an expert on the grill, and really can't compete. The first time I ever ventured into this restaurant, the server said that the burgers were good... because of the wood fire. They were very, very right.

Oh, the wings and beer are good too!

Nice Place but BAD Food. This is my 2nd time eating at the Maverick's. The first was about 1 year ago and the food was horrible. The atmosphere was very nice, the place was packed and the menu looked good. I even asked the waitress what was their specialty, she said ribs so I got them. Worst rib I ever had, my wife hated her food too. About 2 weeks later it closed down, don?t know why I figured it was the food.

Then we went last week 7/24/08. The name was still the same the place was nice, it was packed, and the menu was different (no ribs this time wonder why). I got the chicken parmesan and my wife got the rotisserie chicken with a baked potato. They worded the menu so nice with there house made marinara sauce, it looked store bought at Target and their chicken was bad. My wife did not like her chicken and I never seen a baked potato look like the one she got, we took a picture so we could show people. It looks like they cut the potato in half and then microwaved it. It was dark brown inside.

Other people were complaining about their food as well. However the burgers looked good and so was the beer.

Best Chicken Wings. A great north metro hangout with a neighborhood feel. The happy hour is the best, wide selection of Martini's,

half priced appetizer's, great drinks. The food is great with a wide variety to choose from, sandwiches to steaks. We have enough Ruby Tuesday's, Applebee's, Chili's, etc. around the metro, try this place you will love it. If you want something unique, something different this is the place to come
