WORST TATTOO PLACE EVER.. I got a tat done on my foot here and the guy did an awful job. I'm so unhappy with it. I'm getting it fixed at a much more reputable place and am paying more than I even payed for the original tattoo because its so messed up. Twin City Tattoo has so idea what they are doing. They screwed me over and gave me a horrible tattoo. NEVER GO THERE.

Twin City Tattoo: Great Work. I wanted a tattoo but was new to the Minneapolis area so I decided to check out a few studios before I decided where to go. I stopped at Twin City Tattoo and spoke with Mike Yurkew, he was very knowledgeable and gave me a quote from the sketch I brought in. After checking out a few more other places I knew I wanted Mike to do my tattoo. I came in a week later and talked about the finishing touches of the design with him. When we were ready he cleaned his station thoroughly and we got started. I am very glad that I came here, I had a great experience!

Pros: Mike was straight with me, he didn't sugarcoat or walk around my questions. Mike has a great reputation, 18 years of solid work! After checking out other studios and shopping around I got more experience and a more comfortable setting for less money at Twin City Tattoo.

Great piercings. The guy who did my piercing Mike was very professional and did a very good job at my piercing.

I got my nose pierced by Mike and he explained everything and i watched him steralize his equipment before piercing.

Great experience.

Great if your a biker. This place is not my scene. For some it might be perfect but to me it looks like an old bikerz shop. Mike was a little abrasive at first but warmed up as things went along.

I had a friend who recommended me to check it out and I got my first tattoo here. At the time I got it I was pretty happy about it but after a few months it was much lighter and really didnt look that nice.

I decided not to go back to have it fixed up and went to another shop to have it redone.

Great place, no matter what you're looking for.. Recently got my tattoo with Mike Yurkew. I was immediately reassured by the level of cleaning he does with each project. His station is immaculate and I saw him clean with bleach/cleansing solution 2 times over. He's meticulous with placement of the tattoos and won't start until you're both happy. Once starting, we engaged in so many great conversations, it seemed over before it began (despite the 2 1/2 hours it actually took). He's professional, clean, and one hell of an artist. If my wife would let me, I'd be back many times! Please support this great artist.
