Really?. Why is this place even open?? They don't even serve alcohol anymore and still only have two beers on tap!! The food is expensive compared to the portions and not very good anyway!! Somebody please buy this place and turn it into a real bar and grill !!
Needs to be REDECORATED. Hot pink and blue are about the worst colors you could pick to go with food. Talk about unappetizing. We were so excited to have a family operated local business near our home. The decor is hideous, the place looks stark. It needs to be remodeled and some warm appetizing colors slapped up on the wall. The food is just OK. I don't feel super welcomed when I go there either like a person should in a local establishment. Put in some booths too. The music is too loud to have conversation when they have a musicain playing. Please hire a food consultant and an interior decorator!
Not terrible, not great.
Went there for lunch today for the first time. Prices seemed high for what we got. The appearance/atmosphere was clean, fresh, and open, but they need a good decorator because it feels incomplete. I don't know if they change their themes based on the seasons but today they had upside down umbrellas on the ceiling, some stained glass panels that looked like they got them at a (nice) garage sale, and different brightly colored walls, some nice, some not so nice (teal) which gives the place a summer beach house palette, but it's still too starkly furnished/decorated. All tables no booths. The staff were friendly and competent but the cook(s) were a little slow. Place wasn't busy at all and we went at 12:30pm for lunch.
It has a cute name, but they should price better and design it to be more of a "our" kind of place.
I ordered the buffalo wings as my entree for $9.95. They were just okay. They did let me choose half teriyaki and half "hot" (although their hot wasn't even my version of mild). My wife got the special: French dip. 6.95 just for sandwich and aus jous. Extra for sides (fries). The sandwich was pretty small, no cheese, no onions, just meat and bread. It was below average. The fries (extra$) were very good as they tasted like my momma used to make (homemade, potato skin on, but were slightly soggy.)
It may be new, so I wouldn't rule them completely out, but wasn't impressed.
The Menu has many comfort food selections. But, give this place a miss.. The Menu has many comfort food selections. But, give this place a miss. The meal was one of the worst we have ever had. Fish Tacos (2) ? The soft shell was soggy. The fish was small thin battered cod strips, deep-fried to a dark brown and tough as beef jerky. Pork Scaloppini ? Two small medallions, very tough and the Dijon mustard crust on the outside was very soggy and grease laden. Cabbage Strudel ? Was cold and bland. Mine still had parchment paper on the bottom side. Baked Mac and Cheese ? Very dry and again cold. A hard tight clump. Kraft Boxed would have been a step up. The food was not freshly prepared. It had to have been reheated.
